Thx Foordy. I thought he had some arrangement this season but when he broke his wrist & could not play in the NRL it went by-the-way. So maybe that is why a few people have thought he may stay. Anyway, I hope he does stick around.

Regard everything and you know his always going to put 100 %. His a natural footballer, with skills that cover the whole game with 15 years experience. We forget he was the best player in the world and was a world class player for a good 7 years. He deserves more just for his respect, if he wasn't out on a limb he'd be making bank for sure, he just wants to play footy, u can see that but we're toying with him because they can. If Benji doesn't want to play for $100k then I'd like to see him leave. When he lost his ridiculous pace off the mark and agility he lost his ability to command a huge salary. He's an NRL back up now. He's a shadow of the player he once was. He used to be BRILLIANT.

Anyone paying him the money to play a bigger role than a backup is building a crap team and is stepping towards failure.

Benji's decline has been kind of sad. Fair enough - he obviously loves playing the game and wants to earn a living from it as long as he can. But a lot of people are going to forget how good he once was the longer he plays. He is definitely damaging his legacy.
