Renouf's Hunt fear: 'He could cost Brisbane a title'

After his performance on Thursday night the Dragons must be starting to feel real buyers remorse over the Hunt deal.

I have seen only one other who moved as well as Renouf and that was Steve Rogers. I am a Hodges fan but he was no where near the same league as the two listed above.

I tend to agree, Renouf was a better centre although Hodges could be seen as just as good. The reason I say that is because Hodges had other talents that Renouf had a lot less of. Purely as a centre, Renouf was the better of the two.

Totally different players . Renouf had great acceleration and balance, he was very good at sliding on the outside of his defender . I got to see renouf in his prime , was great to watch. Hodges was strong and had one of the best right foot steps and fend their has been , deceivingly quick and ball playing skills . I would also have liked to see Hodges play more fullback.

Yes, I also saw both players at the start, in the middle and in the declining years. I acknowledged they were different with differing strengths. Renouf had an amazing fend. I attended the Broncos first grand final way back in 92 and also went to Lang Park in 88.....don't remember who they played.

Well I live in Melbourne and sometimes see them training and he is just so composed. Has a nice kick and makes good decisions. He came to my attention in the Auckland 9s and I've been focusing on him when I go past their training since then.

With Munster and Jacks being preferred down here, I reckon we are a good shout at getting him and he won't be expensive, not compared to Taylor anyway. I still can't believe we just let him walk, monumental stuff up that one.

I remember saying at the time I thought it was a Sherwin and Thurstpn situation all over again. Granted Hunt is much better than Sherwin in most ways and Taylor is no JT yet but he's showing all the signs and it's going to be almost impossible to get him back from the Titans.

I remember reading that Brodie Croft won't be off contract until 2020. Not to mention he's being groomed as Cooper Cronk's protege. I would like to get him, but I doubt we could.

Just on Hunt, this is the most confident I've seen him play since 2015. But I think he needs to get over the field goal hurdle to recover 100%.
