I wanted to expand a bit on the article that @rnabokov posted in the Milford thread. because it gives a good insight in to the player and the leader that we are getting for next season. I think he'll be worth every cent of the 700k we're paying him and a very positive influence on our squad.

Reynolds on Milford:

“I would love to think I can help ‘Milf’ get going again . . . he’s still got loads of potential,” Reynolds said.

“I have no idea what he’s asking for next year, but he’s played some good footy and he’s been asked to do something he’s not comfortable with, which is organising the team.

“If you can get him into a system that is working well, he’s one of the best players in the game. He would be pretty handy to have.”

Reynolds on coming to the Broncos

“I’ve got no regrets at all about the move and I’m excited for the challenge,” Reynolds said.

“The upside with the club is the number of young players coming through. There is a lot of talent there. They’re getting hammered about the results, but they are still a new group – there’s a load of youth and not many senior leaders there.

“I’ll go there and try to have an impact and give my input.

“I think their systems look a little broken at the moment, but you can tinker with that. Having just played against them, I know what works and doesn’t work.

“They’re a team that looks down on confidence and maybe a team not playing with the freedom some of the other clubs are.

“I’ve spoken with Kev, we’ve bounced a few ideas off each other and had a couple of chats over the phone.”

I love that he's already engaging with Kevvie via the phone to set new plans in motion already. Milf certainly owes him a slab for the good word he put in about him being not yet past redemption.

Has he also identified the forwards he would love to play behind? The whole news item gives me at least something to look forward to.
