RLWC 2021 Week 3 Discussion

Are you forgetting which club he plays for sir?

Not in his game as his judiciary record shows, he basically rarely gets suspended for foul play.

yeah, not saying he would have been suspended in the NRL ... but he would have got sent off, before receiving a personal apology from Vlandys (maybe even a ref sacking would follow)

Interesting the ref calling for the player to surrender to avoid the shepard

Australia up 30-0 at HT.

It hasn't actually been that great a performance from the Kangaroos. You can see the impact the changes have had on the side as their timing has been out and they've made some poor mistakes. However the Italians haven't been able to get themselves into the game and once they get good ball to their centres it's academic.

A fun little easter egg at half-time, poor Cameron Murray got snubbed and had to give himself a high five.

Australia edge themselves just that little bit further after Nanai scores from a short ball by DCE.

I think they've got Italy now. They won't have enough time to get back on top.

60-6

Shame Herbie wasn’t included in the England team. Wonder if he’s dropped or just standard WC shuffling against easy teams.

You wouldn’t think he’s been dropped, he’s been really good in both games.

Excellent scheduling by the WC organizers.

Such a close game that England vs Greece one. Game of the tournament IMO.

IMO, England have been the biggest surprise packets of this world cup

I don’t really see it as much of a surprise, England have been building for years.

With more English players coming to the NRL playing against the best and having success here, and with them developing some exciting young talent in their domestic comp, it was always going to lead to what we’ve been seeing in this WC. The players that have been killing it have been in good form and they’re carrying that form into this WC.

Previous WC they only lost by 6 points. Now that they aren’t going up against Immortals in the Aus side, they’re a genuine chance of winning it.

I haven’t checked by I hope they don’t end up on Aus side of the draw because I want to see them taking them on in the final.

Aus v NZ Semi I believe. PNG v Tonga the other I believe.
