Final round of the pool stages before the final.

Next week is shaping up to be...

Australia vs. Lebanon
England vs. Papua New Guinea
New Zealand vs. Fiji
Tonga vs. Samoa

Then I believe it goes

Australia vs. New Zealand
England vs. Tonga

You can just about lock those in unless France upsets Samoa and you get two upsets in the Tonga/PNG/Cook Islands/Wales pool.

Since Aus are going up against Italy, I would like to see them experiment with Hunt and Grant.

When Grant comes on, have Hunt play that roaming lock forward role with Grant out of dummy half with Hunt chiming in every now and then. See how it goes and see if it disrupts the side or not.

They did it with QLD this year to great effect.

Also, I’m going to go out on a limb and say PNG best England in the quarters.

Such an exciting kiwi team. Gonna be a tough night out for Ireland.

Awesome looking NZ forward pack and bench, still got Leota to come in for Liu. Gonna need Cleary to kick them to death.

Hughes has become an incredible halfback, he really has.

Also, every NZ player has Skysport as their first name. Skysport Hargreaves lands a shoulder charge to the head five minutes into his return from suspension, shame because it’s not in his game.

Skysport Hughes being fit makes NZ a genuine threat in his tournament to Australia.

Skysport Mulitalo scores for Queensl…I mean NZ.

Just imagine Mulitalo scores the winning try in the Aus vs NZ grand final. All this because some whinging blue.

Can't stand JWH, what a flog. Wonder what players really think of him.

I can't believe that shot from him was only a sin bin.

would have easily been sent off in the NRL
