This game will come down to Refs.

Souths to win.

Team bonding night tonight at Lang Park. Turn the lights on and soak it in.
We ever done anything like that in previous years?

Now that's it's game day let's consider the likely outcome of Brisbanes first set tonight, be it an attacking set or defensive set. Taking bets now on:

- Broncos kick the ball out on the full.
- Broncos give away first set penalty.
- Broncos give away last tackle 6 again in the first set.
- Broncos lose player to concussion in first tackle.
- Broncos drop ball off kick off.
- Broncos give away penalty for incorrect play the ball.
- Rabbits kick off hits the cross bar bouncing back into Cody walkers hands who drops it then kicks it constituing a drop kick into the in goal leading to a Souths try in the first 30 seconds.
-Rabbits hit one of our guys with a high shot which the match officals pick up 10 minutes later and the offending player is given a simple warning.

If memory serves me correctly the past two seasons we've had something happen to us the first set of the first game so betting we keep the record going.

I think you missed -Rabbits play the ball well off the mark and knock on in the play the ball but get awarded a 6 again for Broncos being not back the ten.
Or, the ball is contested and grounded by Isaako in our in-goal (clearly because he was the only player a white wrist band) but the video ref rules a Rabbit's try.

I think we have a few players who maybe a bit underdone so I hope we use the bench well. Still can't see a defeat.
Ive got a heavy wager on this one, so i hope you are right! Please, no 30point predictions this season though😆

But in reality, just being in it for 75 minutes would be a massive win with all of our outs. A win would blow the lid off.

Yeah we had a forward pass from the kickoff to start last season. The season previous was...hmmm, maybe tackled in the in goal? Yeah we've been very bad to start out.

What odds a Jamayne kickoff out on the full to get us going in 2022..

We score a length of the field try off the back of a Payne Haas break through the middle.

Souths Right edge is going to be defensively abhorrent if Taaffe is ruled out. Johnston will go to fullback and Mansour will take that wing spot. The halves need to exploit that side because as good as Staggs is Campbell Graham is one of the best defensive centers in the comp and it would be wasteful to persist attacking that side.

Only way I can see us winning is if we win the middle, as good as our starting pack is I think the bench will let us down.

If tonight's game is even at 80% the pace of last nights game, it will be a tough night for us. Penrith looked like an extremely fit bunch of blokes and going off our trial form, we aren't anywhere near it. .
I just hope we don't start the year off with the famous Isaako out on the full kick off.
I can already see it..

I've tipped Souths. No Hetherington, no Reynolds, no Gamble, Isaako at the back (hey @Huge !), I think we'll be very disjointed.
