Jaemon isn't one of the boyz. He didn't come through the ranks with the others, did you know?

Pretty funny it's Luai giving him the treatment, who was the fuckstick that was in front of the kicker and give away a penalty at a crucial time in the game that got us out of a bad position?
Who was called out by the ref for being offside lots of times too 😆 during that same passage of play.

Oh come on mate. 3 calls our way? How many of their forward passes were let go? Their 1st try alone had a couple,
their blatant stoppage of qptb were ignored all night.
Do you still think we got away with 3 calls our way? Nahh, I would argue that there are multiple attempts to take away the W from us for mine.

We’re starting our dynasty at last and this is how(with more polished approach) we will be playing from here on.
You might need to have this discussion with some Panthers' fans, who booed the ref all night. Generally eye of the beholder this ref-bashing caper.

Loved big marty coming off the bench, I think he’ll be one of the signings of the season. In Billy’s defence, he bamboozled everyone including himself with one of his runs which lead to our second try.
I like big Marty and don’t mean this at a criticism but he looked nervous last night. I think it’s means that he cares if anything but he didn’t look like a 33 year old seasoned prop. He looked like a young fella excited about his debut and doing his best to hold on.

It was a ballsy move for the coaching staff but they were proven right to keep him fresh until late in the game.

think both set of fans were complaining about laying in the ruck lol

Our best at dummy half too. Look at this cracking service to Payne. 1:02:55 in.

And the ragdoll on Riki. 1:07:20 in:

Why would I want to discuss with some salty arrogant mob when I can cherish the performance from our group 😉?

Yup, I would say certain someone who held a clipboard in his hand on the ground must’ve had some inputs to Kev 😀.

You hate reality?

I am very happy we won. But it’s round 1 and we scraped home because of 3 calls that went our way.

I am not punching the air just yet is all.

you should enjoy it ... who knows how long it will be before the next time we get 3 crucial calls correctly ruled in our favour.

Just watched the replay and the Reynolds strip near the end of the game that was judged by the bunker to be propelled forward was absolutely baffling.
It clearly went backwards before hitting a leg and going forward.
Just can't work out how that decision was reached..

Klein was in the bunker ... that's how

To beat Penrith in Penrith, you need a bit of luck to go your way.

This is a team that has developed and been best in their age group across various competitions, they've taken all before them and broken all sorts of records in the past couple of years, it was never going to be a pretty win.

Enjoyed the tries and the defence was monumental (as Sproj said, reminiscent of that Melbourne game back in 2015) ... loved everything about the win ... but the high spot for me, when they smashed Luai and held him up short of the line I was out of my seat yelling "Yeah .. how d'ya like that smack up yer stupid ponytail from a full-grown horse ya little wanker !!!" ... then I became strangely calm again lol.

Especially as it was challenged, the bunker had multiple looks at it from multiple angles, every angle showed exactly the same thing. Even the commentators were saying Reynolds knocked it back.

But I guess these are the things that we just need to "get over" because we should blindly trust that the refs are just doing the best job they can.

staying down etc to allow the line to reset.

LOL . Capewell thought he was in for a penalty .
Didn`t get it . Then got sent off for HIA . Staggs the same . Stayed down trying to milk a penalty . Then got 10 on the side line .

Rules have seemingly changed ? Previously that would have been replayed multiple times and resulted in a penalty .

You won't get hold of any of them on a Saturday anyway - they'd all be on their way to Goulburn SuperMax to visit the relatives.

H Division you reckon

Same with taking people out in the air by standing under them. Happened twice to us last night without being called.
