I’m pleased for Ezra to atleast get an admission of guilt and an apology and he can put it behind him. I think the opposite, the Roosters failed him on Saturday night. He should never have done an interview. The Roosters media should have taken him straight off that field. I know the usual rule is players on report don't do media. That's the Broncos rule.

That may be true, but the bigger picture to this was always going to be how the allegations were handled.. at least with the benefit of time to actually discuss the situation with Leniu and get the facts on the table, they've done the right thing.

Yeah i'd go 4 weeks (same as Montoya) plus another 1 week for the hotel (same as the stupid Haas/Kelly suspension) so 5 weeks.

No matter what someone is accused of doing, you don't make knee-jerk decisions. You need to give people a chance to explain themselves properly and then come up with the best way to move forward. That's what the Roosters have done.

They did the 'right thing' after the video of him clearly saying it multiple times came to light. This would be like your missus catching you rooting someone else and you getting out of bed and saying "Honey, I need to be a man and tell you I've been having an affair" and expecting her to say "hats off to you".

They've been home since Monday and it wasn't like the whole administration team went. They have had three days with everyone home to 'do the right thing' and have found a conscious after proof was publically available.
