I definitely hope not. Gamble is trash and played his part in the massive second half belting last weekend.Predicting Kevie will give the 14 to Gamble as cover for halves/backs. So therefore no room for Oates or Paix. Spine looks set at;
1. Isaako
6. Milford
7. Croft
9. Turpin
I beg to differ. Paix is the one who doesn't hold the middle well, its a free for all when the opposing forwards cart the ball back up 60-70m a set. As seen from the 2nd of the trial and last season.I definitely hope not. Gamble is trash and played his part in the massive second half belting last weekend.

That's what you said about Turpin 2 years ago, yet here we are.Gamble is a good ISC half, he isnt an NRL 14.
All the more reason to prove his worth. I think injuries cruelled his chances rather than regular game time. They've given 17 games to a rookie to prove himself, why can't they give Gamble a few. Look how Fogarty and Walker turned out, club persevered and now they are proven at that level.Gamble has shown literally nothing in his few chances. By no means write him off entirely, but there’s a reason he’s bounced around a couple of clubs and never made a spot his. Putting him in a round 1 team makes no sense.
I think Croft may be the 14. Paix I’m still not entirely confident in, and as was discussed before, if he doesn’t want to be a hooker, or is just not that good, then sign another bench hooker or cut him loose.

But seriously, he will be cover for the halves too in the likely event Milf's hammies give way again
Gamble has never showed the skill or athleticism of Fogarty and Walker. He does not have the potential to pull off what they have.All the more reason to prove his worth. I have to back up Wolfie on this, this has consistently been his opinion from what I have read over the last couple of years.Never said that about Turpin at all. Been extremely consistent with my opinions on Jake. He plays well, then because of his style of play he burns himself out. Hopefully that changes but it hasnt yet.
He could but I'd imagine it would impact his ability to have an influence on the game. Worst case scenario, he comes into play a foreign position or he's brought onto create something down by 14 points and just forces the play because he has to make something happen.Why can’t Deardon play the 14?

Why does it have to be 8 minutes? why not give Turps 60 and Tommy 20?Bowen comes to mind straight away, it's pretty hard to inject yourself for eight minutes and have an impact in a role you don't play. He's not robust enough to play a loose forward role so all he'd do is get 8 minutes at hooker and try a chip and chase or cut out pass that goes out on the full.
