Don't mind the team but I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see a little bench shuffle come Friday night. Perhaps Paix for Te'o or Bullemor. Could we even see the mind gamiest of mind games with Dearden in for Croft, Croft to the bench? Think that's fairly unlikely, but I feel like there's gonna be a change of some kind...

Still on Broncos by 14.

Looking at the Draw, we could quite easily be 1 win from 8 games. And that's if we beat the bulldogs.

Yep, horror start. We could get lucky and beat the titans and maybe one of the eels or rabbits 3/8 is probably an over achievement.

The 8 after is slightly better with Manley; Cowboys, Dragons; and Sharks all beatable.

I think by 16 rounds we could be at around 5 wins if lucky. Origin might benefit us for once and allow us to win a few against depleted teams.

it gets a bit smoother after that with a bye tigers, knights warriors, sharks for example I counted about 7.winnable games in that last stretch:

It’ll be a huge achievement to crack double digits

Matterson is barely big enough for a centre.
Huh??

Matterson is bigger than Riki in both height and weight and a giant compared to Glenn...

Big fan of dropping Dearden. Nothing like the coaach dropping rookies after a taste of first grade to keep them learning, humble, and hungry to get back and not take their spot granted.

The master coach used to do it all the time, Bellamy does it with all most of his players coming through, he gives them a few games, drops them, they appear back at some point if they're good and never look back.

Also **** yeah Oates being dropped. He has went form pretty good to total mud.

and on the flip side i hope it gives croft some confidence for being selected and he fires the **** up. i want to move on from the vision of him crying like a baby

You're a betting man huge, you throwing some dosh on that outcome?
No sir, I may not even have a job soon. Things are grim. Retirement beckons. I just have 200 on the Broncos and no other bets.

Sorry but disagree with a lot of people on here. Croft shouldn't even be in the 17 let alone halfback. All he has done so far is prove Bellamy and the storm right to move him on as he got seriously exposed last year and couldn't make the position that we stupidly bought him for his own. If he wants to keep Dearden out of the jersey, he needs to change his game up and prove that the jersey belongs to him otherwise it won't be long until Dearden eventually plays again in first grade and croft is sent to Q Cup.

You should put in for a job with the Brisbane passenger rail network.
I hear the pay is pretty good.

The same could be said for alot of players. Milf is one in particular.

Croft may have struggled at times last year but you can't fault his passion and work ethic. Milf on the other hand... I'm confident Croft will play well this year. I have more concerns about Milf. Lets hope Kevvie is the man to get our halves firing.

Paix is a huge defensive liability. Will give him a miss till he gets a season or two of ISC in him. We just leak meters like a mofo when he's on.

I didn't think Croft was our main problem last year, in fact I don't see that he was a problem at all. I think if KW thought it was Croft who was poor he wouldn't have backed him. There was plenty of blame to go round last year and I don't believe Croft gave up for a second. I think he actually showed how much he hated losing . Anyway, time will tell.

It's fine talking up Croft since he wasn't playing well at all last year and anything is an improvement, but the guy has to learn to Tackle if that hasn't changed he isn't 1st grade standard, it even made Milford look like a good tackler.
