Wow, big blow for Souths. GI has been hampered quite a bit the last two years. Could be a long road back for him, like Slater.

I still can't see Will Chambers throwing the first punch in yesterdays game.
I don't doubt that he did, but watching the video I can't see where it happens.I can. He's a fiery player, not really one to take a backwards step IMO.

As far as I know once you've torn an ACL there's no additional damage you can really do to it, like if he came off the second it happened the diagnosis would still be the same. My guess is that he knew he'd done his ACL and wanted to stay out there and try and help the team win their first game before he went off, but it just never eventuated. I wouldn't be blaming Maguire, unless it comes out that Inglis wanted to come off.
Inglis did want to come off
He had his hand up and all
**** off, really?
He went off eventually. But it happened in the 1st, and he was back for the second. It was obvious enough from the moment it happened that it was bad, and his try confirmed it.
He also ran the ball, but was only able to run about 3 meters before he basically stopped and walked backwards. I thought the whistle had blown.
**** me dead McGuire has to be held accountable for Inglis' injury
He refused to take him off
Hand up doesn't mean he wanted to come off, that means he wanted to speak to a trainer.
