Bird should come straight in for Kahu honestly, I prefer Isaako on the wing, bigger, stronger and can goal kick at around the same level.

I'd be bringing Tommy back next week at left center. His defence is Great, and the big thing he has going for him is he never stops talking and organising. We need that.

Early in the season but I'm seeing the same issues deep in attack near the oppositions line as last season. Just no direction largely from lack of communication and direction from the halves and inept kicking.

Kahu's performance at center tonight is what happens when you spend the pre-season on the wing (not to mention the previous several seasons) only to move to the centers for round one.

if Bennett wanted Kahu in the centers he needed to spend the pre-season there ... center really is a specialist position (especially in defence)

once the season starts is can be risky to wait the games required to adjust to the new position.

Hunt needed to go IMO, Broncos weren't right for him after the grand final.
