I can't think for one second as to why we wouldn't use the same gold as our home jersey. Our home jersey gold is absolutely spot on. Our away jersey is closer to canary yellow. Strange to be honest. Maybe the idea is to make it "stand" out a bit more, to prevent colour clashes as well? Who knows.
