This. We have a lot in our favour.

Talk of Eels being in form is absurd. I don't begrudge them their success in the 9's but it means SFA tomorrow night.

An upset is possible but unlikely. When it comes down to it, we have the defence, discipline and conditioning to shut their offence down. I am confident they can't do the same. Provided we keep possession equal or in our favour, they can't hang with us.

The big variable as someone has already pointed out is the refereeing. Judging from last year, we'll have trained to adapt to the new rules, but adherence to the new standard proved detrimental when other teams toed the line and weren't penalised. Given home ground advantage, I can see the Eels getting away with a little tunnel ball while we get pinged for less.

Yeah if that's the case I will be changing my tip, haha. It was primarily based on Foran having a blinder.

Edit: I can't find anything anywhere saying that Foran is out yet, just an article on NRL.com saying that if Foran is ruled out that Kelly will come in.
