How is predicting an early loss against an in form Eels squad, with a point to prove, in Parramatta, considered "Defeatist"? I'd love to live in the world where we win every game by 50 and everyone shits roses and buttercups, but that's not the world we live in. Pipe down newbies.

Premierships aren't won in round 1, 2006 is a good example of that and to expect us to go in all guns blazing is unrealistic but that also goes both ways. I think the Broncos will win but I certainly won't rule the Eels out, perfect chance to ambush us nice and early.

Eels will give us a big touch up on thursday night, they will be busting out of the blocks, they always worry us, we are looking good too but i think the Eels will beat us and have a real big year.

We have been in form & cohesive for a full season. Eels haven't. We have a tried & tested spine, they don't. BOTH teams have a point to prove! We have Bennett!
The Eels will come out all guns blazing & match us for the first 20min in both halves, yep. Then our class, fitness & cohesiveness will rip em to shreds.
