Pretty easy to ignore Ivan we have Wallace at 7 and Lockyer at 6 I can't see anywhere to play SMith!

Rest Wallace and Locky in round 1, Make sure they are 100% and let Hunt and Smith have a run.

Nearly lost Locky after the all stars game so he isnt 100% and wallace, has he played yet? we saw what happened with michaels after a major injury. let Wallace bust up the Qcup for 1 or 2 games to get the rust out.

Wallace did his ankle not his knee!! Wallace was instrumental in our late season run last season how quickly some forget. Tim Smith will most likely get depressed again and go skating anyway.

I've actually heard that Wallace had a knee reconstruction in 2006 or something like that. Don't quote me on it though.

the only way i can see smith getting a spot on the bench is if Thaiday pushes into the front row when Kenny or Sims needs a spell... I think McGuire is a better option than setu on the bench he can play in either backrow or prop and setu isnt exactly know for making meters, probably the area of his game that needs most improvement... McGuire by all accounts has slimed down and upped his workrate too...

My point is if you have 2 props on the bench (Gillett and Anderson) to rotate with the 2 who are starting, why would Thaiday need to push forward?

The 3rd bench spot would come down to Setu and McGuire, I agree...
