Anyone talking shit about Vidot, for any reason - 21 runs for 242 meters. I rest my case.

Great stats for a forward. How many tries?
I am not saying Vidot is not effective on the wing. I just think he is limited in his skills, excellent though they are, and needs more ball with space than just running the ball back like a 2nd FB or a back rower

Get over it. Most people type either on their phone or just quickly. This isn't school, work or university and people are just trying to get their point across. No one cares about a spelling nazi
thank you, get so sick of protencious douchebags just because we dont all take half an hour to properly edit our posts and use perfect grammer, who cares its a footy discussion forum not a bloody english test.
So until he goes to the wing, I propose we start calling Hoffman 'Vortex'. passes only come in, none go out the other side.
Hodges had more impact than Hoffman all season during his one-game stint. I really can't see the harm in a backline of:
1. Ben Barba
2. Daniel Vidot
3. Jack Reed
4. Josh Hoffman
5. Dale Copley
6. Justin Hodges
7. Ben Hunt
Just in the interest of completeness, despite our perceptions of Hoffman shutting down every play, we're currently equal third in Points Scored, with 216. Before the matches last night we were equal first.
It's our defence that's letting us down this year, not attack.
Why would you move a guy who has demonstrated that he can't pass a football to centre??
He should be on the wing or not in the team at all.
As has been said by Morkel there is a guy with experience and vision and a killer cut-out pass who is past his best in the centres but is way too respected to be played anywhere except where he wants to play - J. Hodges.
He also has a sneaky grubber and can tackle in the front line.
Hodges should be our 5/8 with Copley moving to the centres and Vidot on his outside.
The other side is still a problem - I think Hoffman should be on the wing - the only position he has excelled at, but I'm not sure about Reed. Reed is similar to Hoffman in that his passing game is poor but he can be effective at breaking the line and a draw and pass when he is on song.
I don't agree with the Hoffman/Barba swap theory - Barba will excel at FB once the halves start working and he will be trampled in the front line. Hoffman won't work well at FB for all the aforementioned passing game issues - the FB needs to drop into the sweeping backline plays and move it on to the players outside him at the right time. We have all seen how well he does at that in his current position.....
All of this is a pipe-dream as long as Griffin is coach and it may well not work but it MUST be better than the current broken system...
It's both. There were another 20 points on offer v Titans. We couldn't take them. The top sides would have, sides with at least 3 play makers, some 4.
We have Hunt and occasionally, Macca and sometimes Barba. It's not enough. Our results prove it
