POST GAME Round 11 - Broncos vs Roosters

Yeah, Tagatese was the difference! Kidding. Great win, totally hated the rollercoaster ride. The kids stood up tonight. This is the game that will inject the belief into the team. My guy Taga went okay too
 
WTF is that try?
1. Roosters have momentum so Broncos diffuse it by doing a fake HIA that stops play (Opacic is even moving his head, demonstrating full functionality at that point).
2. Darius Boyd gets given a free penalty for nothing.
3. Broncos make nothing of the penalty and their dummy half gets monstered, knocks on and hands us 7 tackles with momentum. The ref decides that this is a penalty for no reason.
4. Broncos completely fark up and go nowhere. Somebody kicks then James Roberts comes in and smacks Friend in the head so that he is stuck in goal.
5. Off a subsequent 6 again call, Broncos score.

Sorry but we DESERVE to be 12-0 up on them!!! They are absolute rubbish and do not deserve a try!!!!
lol at this from Chookpen, only 6 pages into the match thread. This could be wild

Thaiday needs to go anywhere but in a Broncos jersey. Lazy defense let in so many tries. Calling him slow will be an insult to elderly people.

Wishing an injury on a player who plays for us and especially a forward in which we are heavily understocked on at the moment is a dick move

He's our lucky charm. 2 wins against top 8 sides when he plays. He needs to stay in the team.

Never been happier to admit I was wrong. I didn't see us beating the roosters but I couldn't be prouder atm. Very very tough win that one was. That performance was pure Broncos, all heart.

Win or lose I would be proud of that performance.
 
Latrell VS Roberts was great to watch
Sua the knock on machine. Dropped 2 and forced 2 knock ons
Backrow was amazing
Staggs had a great debut
 
I was a bit doubtful of Ofa as a starting player before, I thought him coming off the bench made it easier for him, but he was fantastic tonight. Arguably in our top 3 players. Lodge had one of his best games too, really put us on the front foot in the first half.

It was a look at our future tonight. That pack needs to stay together for a few more years. Then imagine kahu back on the wing and isaako to fullback.

Probably but I’m thinking for his own health and safety as well as letting willing young blood into the team.

I don’t wish anybody injured (even opposition players) but if this is a chance to blood new guys, then this might be the start of building to team to the finals (assuming we make it).
 
These wins always feel great, wouldn’t be an unhappy supporter at all.

Sammy is taking the piss out there.
