I'm interested to see how Wests come into this game. Last week they just blew the Broncos off the field in the first 20 and turned the Broncos against one another. Ordinarily I'd think the Eels would win easily, but with Matterson and Moses at the Eels, the Tigers maybe more ruthless.

I'm keen to see how Doueihi plays. I thought he was the best player on the field against the Broncos, and he's made a real difference at the back for Wests.

I'm also excited to see Blore. He was right up there with Fifita before he required a knee reconstruction. He won't be anywhere near his best, but I suspect a player of his class should be able to come up with a few classy touches.

What a nice play. Sweet pass. Grant is a real talent. We should sign him!

LOL what a kick that should be added to the top 10 worse goal kick attempts.

Could have had madge as a coach, I should stop saying it I make myself sad every time.

He's a master of misdirection out of dummy half... eels have no idea which way he's going to go.

He just looks so comfortable coming out of dummy half, bringing his forwards onto the ball and marching down the field.. he's already so comfortable with his game

Why is the ref blowing penalties tonight instead of set restarts..............................has the NRL changed the rules again?.......I can't keep up.

Damn, Chee-Kam had a siezure after a bad head knock trying to make a tackle. Sad stuff :( Hope the guy is alright.

That’s scary viewing. Young mate said he wasn’t wearing head gear anymore, I just decided he’s got no choice about wearing it. Fark.

100% knock on by Waqa Blake in the challenge. Ref doesn’t allow the captain’s challenge and Parra score...

That's why I dont like the fullback in the line... really dont see the point unless you're on your own try line.

Play the ball was about 15-20m out and created 30m of space to kick the ball into with no one there to protect it

Headgear has limited benefit to head knocks and concussion. Prevention of glance damage like ears and stuff sure, but as a concussion prevention your only option is to play Touch.

What was the ref actually claiming that Waqa was doing there??

He had an arm hanging out and contacted the fullback in the air... I cant see how he can say Waqa was competing for the ball and I'd suggest he was playing the man ie. tackling in the air.

I fucking hate all the baulking and shit that players get away with now... another blight on the game, which the eels are more than happy to adopt

Me too, I have epilepsy and had my fair share of seizures over the years and I wouldn't wish them on anyone. I even had a seizure going down stairs and I dislocated my shoulder in the process.

Wests came out with plenty of intent early and were matching it with the Eels, but as the half wore on the Eels were getting on top.

I'm stunned by how fit Paulo and Campbell-Gillard are looking. A year or two ago, it appeared both were really struggling with the pace of the game but they've just improved as the season has gone on.

Fingers crossed for Chee-Kam, that was an awful moment and one of the more concerning things I've seen on a footy field in recent years.
