I can not express in words how pissed off I am at this team at this point in time.

Willison should have stayed down and milked the high tackle at the end.

I'm glad he didn't because I hate it but if he did do so, we would have got the penalty and ultimately, not play acting lost us the game.

Too many players either not fit enough or worn out. Its definatley caught up with some of them now.

This game though, our big players ( Payno, Patty, Walshy and Ezra ) despite having some decent looking stats and big moments, didnt stand up. Our forwards got run over and our backline was all over the place. Very dissapointing display.

that was one of our worst performances in the last 2 years. not being able to hold out a reserve grade titans team and build any sort of dominance is very concerning. karapani may have bombed two tries but we should never have been at the point where they were only 8 points behind at half time. Slater can't be too happy either with our players, none of them deserve to play origin after that effort today.

final note, corey oates is too damn slow for the wing.

Early 2023/Late 2022 Oates wouldve eaten up that try/space for sure but we should’ve scored the five tries we bombed before it. Focus your annoyance on all the mistakes rather than the glory play at the death.

Where Reece went to for 30 minutes is a mystery but maybe they were protecting the knee.

Oh well. Two points guaranteed next week before an easy win against the Sharks.

Most pathetic game ever! Blood is fckn boiling. Second strong Titans team, second rowers playing in the centres yet we hardly attack there. Piss poor defense with some really soft tries. Wtf does Piakara come off? He is our only potent edge player. Take off Riki instead FFS. We fckn stink.

I think if you replace Karapani and Oates with any other backs we win that game by 20. They butchered tries and let in 4+. Absolutely can’t be picked again.

Walters was also pathetic today. That effort in defence in the first half was terrible, and the knock on when we had the foot on their throat was horrid.

That defence was beyond awful and I'm sort of glad we didn't miracle a win there because they didn't deserve the win. Broncos can be so frustrating to watch and the bye couldn't come soon enough.

Yeah our left side defence is paper. A lot of backing up effort seems to be lacking too, like haas softly guiding the titan guy to the try line before half time, rather than jump in there and wrap up the ball

i like your positivity and i would be with you on that train if not for the fact that this was not a one off display from us. we have had far to many games this year were our defense has looked like we should be batling for the spoon.

the storm and penrith have one bad game then get a rocket at them and look like world beaters the next,

I love kevie but whatever has gone on this season is not working. they are not putting in for him like the did last year.

its night and day differance with how we defended all last year.

guess we will see if kev has the smarts and know how on how to turn this around or if we will just be bottom 8 team this year.

and if we keep defending like we have the last few weeks i can see us missing the 8 entirely.

Kev dragged him after missing his 4th tackle in about 5 minutes

Deserved win by the Titans. Out ball control and defence was just abysmal. Karapani is only ever a fill in centre. His defence is barely QRL standard. If we learnt anything it's just that Oates is too slow to be a starting winger and I don't know what's going on with Billy Walters but his form this year has been substandard.

Worse game I've seen Haas play for awhile but what killed us was our poor ball control and pathetic tackling. I don't get why we all go high and let the attacker either take 2-3 m before being stopped, gets an offload away or at worst gets a quick play the ball.

Both Billy and Smoothy if they get first to a tackle must go low as they are just ineffective when they try to take bigger forwards up high.

To be fair that's probably the best game the Titans will play this year. They were struggling all game to get out of their half until one of our errors with the ball gifted them field position again and again....

If Cartwright is our defence coach he can pack up and head to the UK now. Also poor from Kevvy to leave Billy on for so long. He's gassed at the 25 minute mark and it shows.
