I think if you replace Karapani and Oates with any other backs we win that game by 20. They butchered tries and let in 4+. Absolutely can’t be picked again.

Walters was also pathetic today. That effort in defence in the first half was terrible, and the knock on when we had the foot on their throat was horrid.

i think karapani has lots of potential but his best position for now is the wing. maybe he can take oates spot when staggs comes back. his runs were good but his passing and defence at centres needs a lot of work

Just pathetic defense really. Blew a few tries but that doesn’t matter if we can defend better. Today was an embarrassing day to be a Broncos fan. Our worst day for a while under Kevvie tbh. Corey Oates is too slow to be on the wing. Just a fricken donkey at this point.

The reality is, we have some understandable holes in the team with so many injuries. Karapani just doesn't have the fitness, Oates is past it sadly and honestly, Walters is turning into a bit of a liability. We have too many of our big names also playing banged up and well down on their best in terms of Haas, Walsh, Mam and Staggs. We are also really missing Arthars and so much of our first choice depth.

It isn't all doom and gloom but this origin period is not going to be as easy or as full of wins as last year.

2. Why was cobbo so focused on that try celebration rather than scoring closer to make it easier to convert rather than basically fucking us

i like your positivity and i would be with you on that train if not for the fact that this was not a one off display from us. we have had far to many games this year were our defense has looked like we should be batling for the spoon.

the storm and penrith have one bad game then get a rocket at them and look like world beaters the next,

I love kevie but whatever has gone on this season is not working. they are not putting in for him like the did last year.

its night and day differance with how we defended all last year.

guess we will see if kev has the smarts and know how on how to turn this around or if we will just be bottom 8 team this year.

and if we keep defending like we have the last few weeks i can see us missing the 8 entirely.

I feel you mate, I do. I'm holding out hope Kevin is doing his best, and that injuries have fucked with us way more than us punters know. That and the big stint before a bye, I think we've been limping to the rest stop for a month, and tripped today.
The "good" news is, if our guys have played their way out of a qld jersey, then less disruptions for our team, we've had enough already!!

Yeah our left side defence is paper. A lot of backing up effort seems to be lacking too, like haas softly guiding the titan guy to the try line before half time, rather than jump in there and wrap up the ball

Left edge has defended poorly all season. Which is why I don't understand why move Cobbo to the right?? The left edge should be disrupted as little as possible.

I was out for the day and just checked the score and thought there was a glitch or something. I don't know the context of the match but losing to that titans side is pathetic. Just sad.

I can't remember now, did the Broncos have as many poor effort games last year as they have through half of this year? I know missing Reynolds for most of the season hurts, but they just don't seem as ruthless overall.

Team wise, I’m calling it we aren’t a top 4 team this season. We have lost the hunger and intensity and replaced it with complacency

We just think it’ll work and forgot to work hard. We are not starting sets well, our forwards don’t have the same penetration and our attitude towards the ball is getting worse
