PRE-GAME Round 12 - Broncos vs Sharks

Is there a particular reason why they’ve never been considered? I’d assume we would have a fair crack at getting Sam walker as well.

It's hard to go from ISC to NRL, I don't think anyone has done it. They all do assistant roles and get in the system first and then apply. Walkers don't want to do that they think they're ready to go from ISC to a head role at the NRL.

I think NRL clubs are not that risky and that is always what they will be fighting against.

I thought 5 years for Fat Tony was risky enough!!

Would they take a cheap deal? I only ask because the broncos won’t have much spare cash after they pull their finger out and sack pie face!

Because he signed a 3yr deal not 10. And if he turns out to be as good as what most people think, we will want him back.
Or you can act like a 3 year old and never see him again.

the bloke will want more than 1 million a season to come back....

We wouldnt pay that now....

We should not be paying that now...

We should not be offering that in three years time either...

He.....aint....coming.....back.......unless he takes unders......

And, if he accepts unders.....why not stay..?

well...depend a ot on whats actually written into that contract...it can still cost the club a pretty penny to move him

TPJ on Fifita's return this week:

“He’s a big boost. He’s a powerful runner and one of the best ball runners in the game right now. Obviously disappointed (to lose him next year) but I’m really happy for David. It’s a big opportunity for him and his family. We’re happy for him but he’s a Bronco until October. We just want to send him out as best we can.”

I’d be pretty excited if Boyd puts the winger over with the sweep play. Just for old times sake when we actually scored points.

Absolutely. His skills are not in doubt. His attitude is. He would be great for us at FB if only he wanted to put in

****, bad news for those of us who were looking forward to seeing if we rise without Milford: Dearden just told a press gallery Milly is nursing a hammy, but will be right this weekend. Cuntox.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Lodge confirmed today that he did in fact tear his MCL in that injury that forced him from the field a few weeks ago, so he's unlikely to be back for a while. He's hopeful he won't need surgery though.

Also admitted that he came back too early from the ACL injury and was clearly underdone this season. At least he acknowledges that, hopefully he's 100% for next season, we need him back to his best.
Do we have Dr Kevorkian on our medical staff? Ive never seen so many injuries from players rushed back too soon.

What? He didn't get the injury from rushing back too soon, he tore the MCL in his other leg in a tackle.

Confirmation on the Broncos website that Niu had sucessful surgery on his wrist last week and will miss the rest of the season. Will be ready to go for the 2021 pre-season.

Poor Corey Oates is still recovering from his bad case of boneus eruptus.
