Super to see both Su'A and Pangai in their debut game!
No, he would just punch blokes, drop the elbow in after he tackled them, dump blokes on their head.Tallis played under Bennett at the Broncos but says he never planted chicken wings on anyone.
No, you would just go out and do it yourself.“He said tackle hard and fair but he never told us to go out to deliberately hurt the opposition.
Gordon is right. Blair is not captaincy material. He has been suspended twice this year. McCullough should have been made skipper.

I think this is actually a pretty important game for us, with the Sharks and Storm on the bye this week a loss will mean that we will slip to being 4 points behind the top spot. Those points could prove difficult to make up.
We need Hunt and Milford to really lift in this game and take control.
I bet Wayne rings Gordy in the dead of night and just breathes into the phone.
but we will still have our bye in hand effectively meaning we will only be 2 points behind top spot
Suspensions for mine are irrelevant when determining captaincy material witth a few caveats which don't enter this case. For example, I don't see Blair as a brutal, vicious, nasty piece of work whose intent is to hurt a player seriously and deliberately. That kind of player ought not be a captain, a leader, unless you're a bloody Viking a few thousand years ago.
Captaincy is all about leadership: leading by example, motivating players and knowing what's happening in the game at any time. If Blair does that, great.
For me, I would have preferred Macca. I have this view that the best captains mostly ... Mostly, come from halves or hookers, positions where the player knows or should know, and be part of, every element of the game plan, everything that makes the team work, and of course have those leadership skills. Personally, Ithink Macca fits that bill.
I used to believe that Macca would be our future leader, but now i'm not so sure.
He'l always be the solid tackling machine in the middle of the park, giving good, but not great service to the first receiver, but as far as being a leader and motivating/organising/inspiring the troops i just don't think he has it in him.
Looks to me like WB has given Blair this position of captain for a reason, to inspire him to lead us to a victory over his old club. Maybe he's also been made captain to show him that Wayne thinks he's not the monster that the media is portraying.
