Round 13 Discussion

Rabs: How many times do we keep saying this. These mighty might Maroons keep finding away to come back.

Sterlo: Blues kick it deep...

AWWWWW

KNOCKED ON BY HANNANT

Reynolds!

He scores!

FML!

At least Hannant would make metres. McGuire would just kill any momentum Maroons gain by conceding penalties.

Panthers have played Raiders, Knights and Titans twice for 6 wins.

Hannant would do what he always does in Origin.

Nothing. #agenda

Panthers making the 8 exposes every reason why the NRL is currently in ordinary shape.

I don't think there are many if any good options for QLD to bring in some new forwards.

McGuire

Unless the selectors want ice cream crones thrown at their residence.

Or their power cut.

LOL still can't believe he made Copley cry over that.

Yeah there's no way I'd have Dave anywhere near the origin side, he's always good for 1-2 unforced mistakes a game, and is prone to having absolute shockers.

Lillyman should be there, McGuire should be 18th man.

That Bronx game against the Titans in 09 (I think).

All squared up at full time.

Golden Point starts, we receive the ball. Taylor makes a fucking huge run, kickstarting the set, and the defence is on retreat from the very beginning. In the end we get into position right from kick off, and Locky slots the field goal.

Good memories. Wish Taylor developed as a prop.

That was 2007. We have only had 2 golden point games against Titans.

Round 17, 2007.
Round 24, 2008.

It was a great bloody run, though. I'll give him that. He also scored the try that put us on level terms.

I doubt Taylor would've ever done any better with us. He's like Sandow, as in loads of potential and talent, but absolutely no brain to go with it. He's also not someone who will do the hard nitty gritty stuff when necessary...

#neverinoriginagain

Hannant would be my choice. He has been there, done that... and only needs to ensure he keeps his concentration level, especially when carrying the ball.

I was thinking about that a while back. My criticism of Sandow is that he wants to do the fun backyard footy stuff but won't do the nitty gritty one percenters. In a team sport that is unforgivable. So what does that say about Dave? He is exactly the same, BUT he does have the frame and does have the ability to excel at the tough, undesirable stuff. In reality, that actually makes Taylor worse than Sandow.

The Sharks, heavily depleted, were always going to make the Dragons look good. And Benji's job was made infinitely easier by having Dugan, a known tackle-breaker, running off his shoulder. Seriously, when was the last time the Sharks had a decent centre?

ET I reckon. The Sharks haven't really had any good backs for ages.

Super finish from Fusitua. Just as super was the ball from Tomkins to put Hurrell away. Such a class pass.

Vossy would be my pick to replace Rabbits
