POST GAME Round 13 - Warriors vs Broncos

Yes thats him! Thanks for that. I was really impress by him but obviously you watch a lot more of all the Holden Cup and Q Cup games then me so you know more then me about all the players. Even so, i will track hes progress as i would like to think isaako will continue to improve hopefully.

no dramas, anytime. here are 2 long range tips for the future to keep in the memory bank. eddy blacker and another kid who's first name is tino (he played 16's qld during the week and i cant think of his last name) 2 very different players but very big upside.

One of the problems is our forward pack. Our Pack is not dominating opponent pack. We are not making meters. When we defend our first contact is not good. We need min 3 player to tackler opponent. They offload easily. Past three game we were butcher in the middle with or without ball. There also problem with our half's. Last season Broncos player were hit hard and tackling hard. But this season it's not good enough. Look at storm, Cowboys and sharks forward pack lay platform for there half's. I think Broncos backline is very skill full. Just need our forward make some good meters. This season Cowboys, sharks, Warriors forward pack dominate us. Next week we play with raiders. They got big and skillful forward pack and very dangers backs. Raiders right hand side is most dangers in nrl. Reed gone mark leilua. God know what gone happened.

Thanks faithinhook. Nice to get the first post under the belt. Your right mate - hopefully this charter plane lands and we get some rest for the raiders with a good list to choose from. On the upside got some good minutes into rookies tonight and our bench is on the up just a shame a few seasoned guys look like they are on the slide....onwards!

Your very much welcomed Rico. I think you may very wll be a long term poster here, hopefully. I agree ,many of the senior players put in a pityful effort today. I really think Canberra will spank us next week if we dont see a huge attitude change from many of them .

Great stuff thanks Tally! I will try to keep an eye out for these 2 also to see if they can make the big time!

Wighton and Boyd will miss next week's game unless they beat their charges.

Wighton was charged for touching a ref, but he has loading from another incident so that puts him just over the 100 points if he puts in the early guilty plea.

Boyd (not our Boyd) was charged for a grade one shoulder charge, but once again loading puts him well over the 100 points if he puts in an early guilty plea.

Holy jesus your right, if Reed an Maranta play against canberra , they are both gona get slaughter against Joey Leeilula an Rapana. Those 2 guys are lethal!

Reed will play and he will handle BJ just fine. BJ has been massively overrated. He is also a liability for the Raiders and something our left side can exploit.

As for Maranta, he will not be playing next week.

Oates will be.

And we'll see how Rapana handles a rampaging Oates..

Yes...we've gone from 1st to 3rd in a little over 3 weeks

....season is gonskis .....stick a fork in us ...yada yada yada

Get a grip FFS.

We've gone from 1st to 4th, one win off seventh, and have arguably the toughest run home.

And we have been playing shit for over a month now.

Geez i dunno Freakie. Plenty of times ive seen Reed grasping at thin air when a defender steps straight past him. BJ is capable of running straight through Reed an i can just see him lying there punching the ground an cursing to himself as BJ scores .

**** me dead Maranta and Thaiday were awful. Maranta won't be in the side anyway, but Thaiday will continue to be, and he gives away so many fucking penalties with literally nothing to show for it.

I know right? It's good to be optimistic but I get the feel that this team has no where near what it takes this season... All our wins have been sketchy at best( bar the Knights game) and most of the scores have been flattering due to the Broncos putting on a couple of late try's. Our D has been OK in some games but terrible in others and our attack has been 'Griffin' like!! I've been seriously concerned since the Panthers game...If we get pumped at HOME next week by the Raiders I reckon it's good night and 'there's always next season' will be echoing around

Sammy is well down on form. Gillett has rightly overtaken him as our number one back rower on the right side, which was always Sams best position and i dont think he is that effective on the left. His future now is probably a bench prop as Gillett is an 80 minute player.

I like Sammy, but he has to lift his game now. Hopefully, Pangai will start to put pressure on him and Glenn, and maybe even Oates to shift to second row. Problem with Sammy is he is signed until the end of 2018 so i think we will have a hard time moving him on even if we wanted to.

Thaiday has been down on form for most of his career after 2011. He only looked pretty good in the middle last year. But for the most part, he just isn't good anymore. I'm pretty sure he's only around in teams because he's a funny guy or something.

I don't mind him off the bench , and was liking what he was doing on the left hand side with Milford. He seems to respond to the demotion, and plays better until he gets back into the starting side and then turns to shit

Yup, forwards aren't running hard enough. Our intensity this year sucks. where's the hunger to go further?

I honestly get nervous every time Sam runs the ball to the line these days. His ball security is the worst of anyone in the team.

Well I missed the game today as I was on the tools. From the mood here I don't think I'll bother with the replay. The highlights showed a few soft tries on the edges and a Maranta blooper fest. Poor guy. He always tries so hard but it might be the end of him. Did Offa really have 0 hit ups?
