Round 14 Discussion

Josh Hoffman to 5/8. Oh, Neil Henry....

Matt Thompson is calling the game again like he did on Friday. I must say I enjoy this blokes commentary a lot more than Hadley and Gilbert. Thompson calls the game with some enthusiasm and doesn't go over the top. A refreshing change from bloody Hadley babbling over everything and Gilbert stuttering.

Hope Thompson gets a bigger role in the commentary team if he doesn't already.

Titans attack is terrible at the moment.

Moseley is gone.

Titans really aren't having much luck this season..

Great work from the Titans to score a try on the siren. 40/20 and then a well placed kick from Mortimer is taken by Gordon and grounded.

Amazing from Roberts.

Great cover defence from Mbye.

How good is James Roberts? I don't think I've ever seen a player with more explosive speed.

That wasn't a double movement.

Good win Titans.

Wasn't watching too closely but from what I saw, the Bulldogs were looking to bully the GC and the GC kept finding answers. The likes of Mead and Roberts gave them plenty of strike and I thought the halves came up with some really good kicks.

The Dogs looked a little disinterested and while they created plenty of opportunities, were guilty of some lapses whether it be in support, under the high ball or in defence.

Interesting week for both teams next week. Both are involved in very winnable games against the Panthers (Bulldogs) and Warriors (Titans) respectively.

I'd agree with most of that BP. The dogs had a significant number of regulars out, but the stupid, basic mistakes (like forward passes on kick returns, wtf!!) kept giving possession and territory away.

In the end the Titans really just had to hold the ball and let the dogs destroy themselves.

Can't believe the Roberts dummy and run on the last.

Harris scores with ease..

Too easy for Hampton.

Slices through lazy defense and scores.

This diving crap pisses me off sometimes.

It was quite clear what Hampton was doing. There was no way he was going to stop the try so he took a dive.

To me, that was a try. Hampton was not stopping it and he wouldn't have even come close to stopping it.

I'm honestly very impressed with Sandow tonight. He invited all the pressure in the world this week and he's backing it up with authority.

That kick for Semi was class and the way he's asserting himself each set is great to watch. That 40/20 was a beauty too.
