40-0 at half time, game's jumped the shark

Personally I think everyone's going off a bit prematurely over the scorelines and "V'Landy's ruined the game" blah blah.

As teams get their act together and plan and train for the faster pace, the number of huge blowouts will lower. It'll be like when the NRL lower the interchange. There'll be a flood of "blowouts"(scores well above the long-term mean score for NRL games, anway) as teams work out how to deal with it. Then in a season or two, we'll be back to normal. It's also simplistic to the new rule changes - which I think should have been implemented with a fair bit more time and input from the clubs (I'm talking about the 6 again and similar rules here primarily, but also the head-high crackdown applies) - have permanently ruined the greatest game of all. Sometimes the team at the receiving end of the blow-out has just been shit. Not looking at the Warriors, of course. That is on Mr Vlandy's head! I want him and his family dead! If he had a horse his head would find it's way into his bedroom! :)

About Walters: Always liked him on NRL360 when he did the coach's slot with Laurie Daley bit am getting the impression he's a victim of the Peter Principle: "Hey! You're a great Assistant Boss so HERE! A PROMOTION TO BE BOSS!! You'll be Great!" Next meeting: "Um, er, this is hard but, um, well, everything that made you a great Assistant Boss means you suck at being Boss...."

Good to see Roache back in the NRL again, even if it's not for the Warriors. Hopefully he can have a long period without doing an ACL/getting a long term injury for once in his life.

Personally I think everyone's going off a bit prematurely over the scorelines and "V'Landy's ruined the game" blah blah.

The game was better before, it has been constant blow outs for ages. All the increased intensity will do is just more long term injuries and shorter careers for everyone.

These rules suck as someone that would watch a lot of neutral games. Neutral games are just no fun, and havent been for a while now.
