I did. You then proceed to use stats to prove your point which you generally tend to do. This totally ignores the other factors as rightly pointed out by other posters later.
Pretty on par for our second rowers to be fair.He made a couple of try saving tackles, no questions asked. Aside from that he wasn't good at all, really. The numbers support that.
9 runs, 81 metres, 1 tackle bust.
26 tackles, 5 ineffective, 4 missed.
They were a well beaten side, but they're not the numbers you're looking for from a guy we've invested a pretty serious amount of money in to. I'd also expect him to be putting up significantly better numbers in Queensland Cup, considering his alleged talent level.
As I said earlier, he's still young, but not as young as some may think, he's older than Mam, Cobbo, Willison, etc. Few months younger than Niu & Robati. At some point he may actually have to start delivering, hopefully it's soon.
He's Riki 2.0 at the moment. Lots of hype but not a lot of output to back it up.He's been pretty uninspiring in the games I've watched of him this season, really hope he's got more in the kit bag than what he's shown so far.
Hasn't played a lot of footy, so happy to give him some time. But if he's not hitting his straps by early next season we might have to re-asses his title as a 'future star'.
I do.I don't care if we lose this game.
Definitely a tough ask, but Cows have looked quite beatable at times. Last game against Manly they were well off their normal boil. They should have wiped the drag queens off the park, but didn't.Cowboys just do the 1 % every game, its a small thing but really adds up over the course of a season.
This will be a great test for us, same with the Cows. Both clubs had heaps of Origin players involved flying back from Perth, so it might be light on quality but regardless i ask for a 80 minute efort regardless of result.
This was always going to be a tough time for us to navigate; even if we drop points you still hope for positives we can point too each game right now..
Hope so, I've got a boxing match to attend afterwards.Hopefully the fact that it’s a 5:30 Saturday game might mean the NRL won’t be fabricating a blockbuster golden point game and the game will be allowed to flow.
This rivalry has been so fake over the last 7 years.
Cowboys have been big end of season faders the past few seasons. Payton may have fixed that though.Definitely a tough ask, but Cows have looked quite beatable at times. Last game against Manly they were well off their normal boil. They should have wiped the drag queens off the park, but didn't.
Some teams are May/June premiers then start to decline. Let us hope it's them, not us :P
Fox have been hyping it delux... even gets an ear bleeding Matt Noble monologueHopefully the fact that it’s a 5:30 Saturday game might mean the NRL won’t be fabricating a blockbuster golden point game and the game will be allowed to flow.

Not that Riki 1.0 is finished by any means, but the sentiment is beginning to turn. I know you, myself and a few others have questioned him recently.
Love these posts by you, please do keep it up.Reynolds the key - you can watch this sequence and imagine how much smoother this set would have gone with him running the set.
Nice quick play the ball and switch around the ruck to move Melbournes defence..
Mam doesnt dig too far into the line here but bodies in motion with good clean ball..
Grants the target again by Jensen, his 2nd hit up. TMM joins in and switches Riki on the angle..
Brisbane come left again where Lee takes advantage of a pin-point kick and Capewell/Oates finish off a great set.
This against arguably the best team in the comp, without our best player.
The team knows what each players role is, what to do and when to do it, its simply a matter of slightly better execution which is what Arey add. The difference between now and the Siebold years is incredible.
Bring on the Cowboys...
+1 for me, great work.Love these posts by you, please do keep it up.
