Hello,

Storm member here...nah just kidding, I'm forced to watch them in this stoopidly cold town. Go the Broncos!!

Toddy Greenberg, he was on the forum tonight, and I just really hope he saw what I saw. It’s a lot healthier for our club if I don’t go any further into this post. It’s not out of disrespect to BroncosHQ. It’s got nothing to do with you. It’s just a lot healthier if I don’t continue.

Haven't seen a replay, just highlights, but why wasn't the Kasiano first try a penalty for pushing everyone over - was it referred. We had no chance to get back to our feet so he jumps over to score.

Also, how many tries down Eden's side?

Made mention of it in the live game thread. He pushed Ben hunt off marker as he was peeling off the tackle. Ben hunt got back to his feet and made the tackle, but it was still a hindrance to hunt. Kasiano purposely went back that way, so it was an intentional ploy for mine.

The replays from video ref conveniently didn't go back far enough to it. Only back to the play the ball

Would've fumed in a closer match, but u guess it's all academic now.

Hello, Raiders fan here.

How do you lot whinge about having too many Origin players? I'd gladly take 6 ****ing Origin players that miss one or two games a year and play a bit tired another 2 or 3.

Hi Robofish and welcome to the forum. I will treat your question as a serious one rather than as trolling. As you would know, each of those Origin players you speak of were developed by our club through our system (you know the one that your raiders fan always accuse us of not having).

I think you might be underestimating the impact of Origin, given that it is actually three games where almost half of our run on side is missing. Then, for another three games they have to back up after the most intense games usually three days later.

Add on to that the fact that we have had to travel as well after Origin and you start to get some idea of the real impact. When that is added to the fact that we have 3-4 of our squad also out injured that adds to the impact of those Origin players being out or backing up.

Re your club, well, if you had of managed to hold on to some of your players like Ferguson, Carney, Dugan, Milford etc your club might have had a scenario where they had multiple origin representatives to contend with. But that didn't occur for various reasons did it?

We do only ever have 1 game per year missing our Origin players, not 3. At least the NRL give us that much.

That's 4/24 games affected by origin, so 16% of our games. And those two byes are rounds where our best players don't actually get a week off, so they're generally rested anyway, so it still works out that were affected for 6 games a year anyway, not including all the knock on effects. Origin is a load of shit that we as a club pay too heavy a price for every fucking year.

Honestly as a Broncos fan first, it's both exhausting and infuriating. We shouldn't have to deal with it, they should all be in standalone weekends. Shorten the season if we have to.
