When all the dust has settled from the today's presser from the bloke with the shortest tenure in the club's history (another unwanted record to add to his infamous legacy) we still have a game to try and win on Friday night.

I keep looking at our forwards to try and find an able bodied soul capable of matching it with the Rooster's JWH.

All my hopes are unfortunately resting with Joffa. Maybe this will be his defining game for the club, maybe he'll come out all guns blazing and make a statement of intention that the Broncos are on the way back. Maybe he'll re-capture that form he was producing prior to be being picked for origin. Maybe he'll realise that the next coach (whoever that is) will be casting a critical eye over everyone as from now with a view to cutting out those who are not performing. Maybe the whole team will then follow his lead.

Maybe being the operative word in this post.

Go the Broncos! anyway, I feel like a lead weight has been cut free from the club this morning.

"Burn the boats"? everyone knows in rugby league boats are not for burning but for providing support to the in a Storm.

In short, if you're gonna insist on "burning the boats" it's a good idea to first ensure you are able to swim against the tide of negativity that exists in a One Horse town, otherwise you're sure to drown.
