we should hopefully know today who out of gillett taylor and teo is missing out on origin.

seems like all non broncos fans are writing us off for this game - i like it. come on boys fire up!
 
Sounds like Taylor won't make the cut.
 
hopefully not.

mal sounded excited at the prospect of teo playing. dont think he will miss out. and i dont see them droppiong gillett to keep taylor..
 
I think T'eo will come in for Gillett as well.

haha! I think T'eo comes in for Gillette too and Taylor stays. I think I read the same article as noisetheory and Bucking Beads, but I read it like Mal will give Taylor another chance - or maybe it was a different article? Any links?
 
I'm not picking on anyone in particular when I say this but Gallen is the superstar loss for a team just like Locky was whenever he was out of a game. Carney is not however. He is certainly not a big star player. He is at best a SOO standard player and would be missed from a club game. Cronulla are going close to their best atm and are better when they get their SOO players back. They will turn up on Friday night and are confident of a very strong showing.

I'm guessing they will play with the same intensity they brought to the Melbourne game.It is a big deal and a big game for Cronulla, I expect it will have a SOO flavour. I want the Broncs to win most definitely but like losing at s.hit to my big buddy I can handle it. Cronullas a good side who have never been done any favours by the heirachy in Sydney, battlers and underdogs. Rather lose to them than any other side,qld teams included.

..or maybe its just the fact that he is serving up so many more rocks than diamonds from his usual Dave Taylor playbook

Fair play. Cronulla are a side I'd like to see win a comp sometime soon. But still, the Broncos should be able to easily put away the Sharks if we are really the 6.50 premiership favourties the bookies are touting us as
 
Yeah, I don't mind Cronulla too much either -what COMPOUND said is pretty true. I actually didn't mind seeing them take that win over Melbourne.. subsbligh is right too, we should be able to handle them even without those key players, especially retaining our 1, 7 and 6.
 
i think the sharks played their grand final against melbourne. it was at shark park and it was massively important for them to prove to the rest of the league that they are the real deal.

this game doesnt matter so much to em. i'm sure they will play hard but i dont think they will bring the intensity that will win the game.

Stop down playing the Sharks. They're awesome. You're just showing your arrogance and ignorance of rugby league and, frankly, you fail at life and your children will be doomed to stand on street corners advertising cheap city parking. In fact right now your wife is trying to hook up with ET because you're such a fail.
 
Well so much for the weather forecast saying rain would be stopped by Thursday night .. almost 1am and it's still bucketing down. Hope for some sun light in the morning..

It's certainly wet and overcast at the moment but it should clear up.
