All in all, a solid win to the Bulldogs.

That was the best performance I've seen the Roosters put together since Round 9 and yet the Dogs just went through their business. They weren't impressive by any means, but the way they just went through their business for the 80 was what you'd want at this time of the season.

The Roosters tried hard, but just didn't have the combinations to trouble the Bulldogs. Why it took so long for Hastings to combine with Pearce does my head in. Apart of it may have to do with Friend who pretends like he's Cameron Smith when really he's just McCullough with a bigger set of forwards to work with. Combine with a few boneheads like Kenny-Dowall, Ferguson, Evans and it's no wonder why they fell short here.

In the end, a very even contest that was ultimately decided by defence. A soft-ish try to Jackson the difference.

It boggles my mind how shit Pearce has been in Origin and he's still probably their best halfback. A failure is NSW's best halfback.

Is this referring to the Jackson held up try?, I thought that was a fair enough decision he got the ball down. Personally the Roosters have been hammered by referees for most of my years of watching the game, apart from the Kane Evans try in last years finals series.

Hate how commentators bring up that El Masri double movement try from 2004. I can so easily remember that try and game so well, I cried myself to sleep that night.

Nah, this is why you've got to be in the live conversations.

No, I was referring to an incident where Kasiano had his hands all over the ruck and the referees let him get away with it. It was the first mistake of the second half, ball inside Roosters territory and I think Jackson lost it a few tackles later.

The Jackson Try was fine according to the rule book. I don't like offensive players involving themselves in a tackle like that - but the rules don't penalise that sort of behaviour, so it doesn't really matter.

He was a professional NRL player for 3 different teams across a 9 year career so that makes him an NRL player if you ask me. If Dave Taylor had a go he would've been a great. He had everything to be a superstar but had no desire to do anything with it and wasted his career bludging around and taking up big pay checks out of a clubs salary.

I've changed the photo, that was just the clearest image of him I could find, it was not an Origin thing in any way shape or form.
