He got thrown in the deep end and drowned.
I don't know how he drowned? I know my football well and I'm at a loss to how you come to this conclusion?

He made an absolute meal of Game 2, and then lasted less than 2 minutes in Game 3. That's not valuable experience. That's traumatic.I don't know how he drowned? I know my football well and I'm at a loss to how you come to this conclusion?

He was great, and he was ready. Regardless of age. What was your take on Nanai (the younger of the two)?
I would have given cobbo a break either way. He’s having a massive season and will need him firing towards the finals. We have good depth on the wing as wellI’d honestly rest all the origin guys, that game was insane speed and quality. All of them are going to be so sore this morning. Cobbo I’d say out for the next two games are they are close together. Flegs obviously comes back in.
Sorry but you are way way way off the mark here.He was great, and he was ready. Regardless of age.
The narrative before Game 1 was speculating whether Selwyn was "ready" for Origin. Many thought not, but that's forgotten now. I said he should've been dropped after Game 2, and everyone got antsy with me, despite him looking woefully out of depth. He literally didn't last two minutes in Game 3. Keep reading that sentence until you get it.
Now if you think that's a bad take, you're blinded by your fan devotion to him. Which, I might add, I share. Just I didn't want to see the poor kid humiliated again.
Lots of players had a game to forget in Perth. Nani's defense was terrible, Taulagi made a few errors, DCE had one of his worst games in a queensland jumper - was just ineffective all night, everyone basically said Papalii is done and past it, Capewell missed 10% of his tackles and only made a small amount of running meters, Felise's sin bin - was kneeling on the guy for way too long which basically caused us to fold. etc.Sorry but you are way way way off the mark here.

Game 1 Cobbo showed he's more than equipped to handle it. Lots of players in Game 2 fell to pieces and Game 3 - he never got an opportunity. If you're going to say the head knock was in any way an indication he isn't ready, then I'd like to introduce you to the list of players who have all been in that same position, copping a concussion in an SOO match, you'll find pretty much the who's who of rugby league there.

If that's drowning, sign me up for a jersey. He got thrown in the deep end and drowned.
Your trying too hard to be right here, what happened to him in Game 3 means nothing, anyone else could of been in the same situation it was unfortunate but it doesn't reflect his abilities as a player, if you think otherwise your just being stupid for the sake of your own argument. He was great, and he was ready. Regardless of age.

Was it Brett White who picked up an unconscious Steve Price by the front of his shirt and dropped him again?
Lasnight was up there, but not the worst.

Nah it was pretty bad, especially Luai
If he had any sort of significant neck injury and there are players locking horns.. I thought it was all class from Gagai I thought it was who shielded him
