He's a club legend and was great in his day, but I'm sorry, Corey Oates cost us that game. Blew 2 tries at least.

Better team effort. Still lots to improve though

What? The pass was forward and it was an unlucky ankle tap. Oates wasn't too bad at all given he's been in and out.

Our bench is struggling. Last year when Keenan or Kobe came on we maintained tempo. This year, nada.

Lovely to have Walsh back for the first time in several weeks before we lose him again to Origin for probably another two. And of course we lost another spine member mid game as has been tradition for us this year.

The media will keep the doom and gloom stories rolling without a single mention of our injury situation or origin impact.

We didnt play that poorly tbf, we were competitive, we just lack polish in everything we do.

My biggest concerns are this year apart from Carrigan, not one of our other big game players are standing up every week. Haas is looking a shadow of his former self, Reece has been in and out through injury and Mam has been very inconsistent. We also have a lot of money tied up in other players who aren't fulfilling their promise. Its going to be a tough end to the season.

Kevvie is finished I'm afriad. Going from the gf to not making the 8 next year is diabolical. Brad Arthurs lost his job for it at parra. There's no excuses really.
He doesn’t seem to have any answers
I’ve got no patience for repeated failure
I’d rather see him sacked then see the same shit dished up week in week out

The problem is our complete inability to get the ball out of yardage

We play from the back foot because our back three are ineffective out of our own end. Herbie is a huge huge loss. He provided quick play the balls, and found his front which allowed the Haas/Carrigan one-two punch to roll through after his carry. That then puts the defence on the back foot and allows Walsh/Mam etc to run with space.

This year. We simply do not have that, and we just can’t adapt.

Walsh is our only strike weapon but he’s too predictable when he’s doing the ball playing. He hasn’t put anyone away ever. He needs to be the one being put into the gaps. Surely one of our forwards can get an offload to him up the middle. Teams have figured walsh out when he’s camped out wide being the link man.

Key takeaway from me is that none of our guys are in top form except Carrigan.

Nah **** all your negativity. We played well! Our line defence (especially in the first half) was great! Walsh playing aggressive was awesome, and was only limited by losing our 7.

We play like that every week (and with Reynolds back) we will go far.

That level of effort and intensity needs to be our standard for the rest of the year
There was enough there to show that we are still are good team, easy to forget we still are down Reynolds which plugs our biggest hole, but we need to keep this level, Walsh adds alot, it is a shame our draw sucks and we play hard asf teams when it happens.

Really good effort from almost everyone in that game. I feel like if we have a few more troops we win that one. Just another product of this cursed season.

First two Penrith tries pretty fluky - two lapses from us and they did make us pay, bit still a bit of arse about them. Then add in the dropped balls inside our twenty, Selwyn just getting held up, a couple of bad kicking choices in the last fifteen by Reece. Beating ourselves again, but we looked like we could go with just about anyone tonight, even down what feels like half the team.

Gotta get back in the win column as soon as possible, but putting in games lake that the rest of the way will help.

When Walsh and Mariner made that break, it would have been great for Ezra to wrap around outside Oates to give him options. Instead Mam called for a kick inside and Oates took the tackle. It just seems like there is not a lot of brains and low percentage plays are the go to these days
