POST GAME [Round 18, 2025] Broncos vs Bulldogs

I thought this game was better... last time was his running game and one of his tries were support play, but this had him setting up his support players... and they weren't just stock block plays.

Karapani is him taking the moment into his own hands... he could've so easily just caught and passed it out to the space, but he gets it midfield and beats 4 defenders to put Karapani away with no one in front of him

Hoeter is an excellent pass picking the right player on dual lead runs

Piaks he takes a slight juggle on the pass but gets control and quickly throws the short ball on the lead run

On top of the ball playing he also showed some nice kicking and probably some leadership qualities.

He didnt go into his shell when the crowd were booing on literally every touch

He's absolutely improving as a player in general, but I still have to go with the game where he was the biggest reason for the Broncos almost winning the premiership. He was MOTM on the biggest stage, it doesn't matter how you do it I think. It should have been a Broncos victory and we'd be looking at those highlights multiple times a year, talking about how he completely swung the game in those 10-15 minutes.

That's the best part. Any sort of ref blaming/whining is completely neutered with the blatant professional foul on staggs that was ignored by the ranga lol.

It was so blatant I'm almost in shock it wasn't called. Would've been a big talking point if we lost tbh.

They have really have no basis to be crying about the calls in this game. They also won the pen count by a landslide.

The Karp’s step on Tracey made him look super ordinary. His copy book pick and drive tackle at the end was a gem too.

Made worse by the commentators all saying loose carry.
Cronk says yeah Staggs has to have some responsibilty for not putting the ball in that position.
The video ref in the Storm game was just as bad both ways.
I think the video ref could be Big Del the way they see things opposite to every else.

My favourite was Cronk calling a pass out to Karapani forward, followed by an instant clear, fully parallel replay which showed the pass going backwards at least 3 or 4 meters, and absolute silence from Cronk.

The Fox commentators are unbelievably bad, especially when it comes to Broncos games.
