Lol, there is nothing wrong with tipping against your team. In fact, when we played Melbourne in the 2006 GF, I put money on the Storm to win!

Of course I know we are not performing and aren't playing to any expectations but tipping the Broncos has just become a habit, plus i'm an extremely loyal fan to any team I support just look at what the Reds were just a few years ago for example.

There is nothing wrong however with tipping against them but still standing up to cheer them anyway, similar to how most Lions fans seem to be this season.

I spent 2k buying ebay tickets, booking last minute flights and accommodation to Sydney and generally soaking up the moment. Still remember how nervous I was, was literally shaking with a combination of nerves/excitement/holy shit i'm at a gf with the broncos involved.

BEST DECISION EVER.

But seriously there's nothing wrong tipping against your team, I try not to bet with games involving the Broncos because I sometimes find it difficult to be impartial in tighter contests, but if we're playing Melb in Melb - if you ain't throwing cash at Melb 13+, well you're basically giving money away cause it's such a dead ringer.

HODGES: 56%
HANNANT: 50%
PARKER: 46%
GILLETT: 46%
McGUIRE: 44%
THAIDAY: 42%

Goes to show that Hannant is almost as important as Hodges when it comes to victories. He'll be missed more than people realise.
