POST GAME Round 19 - Broncos vs Tigers

He did have a cork problem. Perhaps that's why.

He was jogging on the sidelines when he came off so I'm guessing it was just a precaution.

Yeah i dont think it was for any other reason than Oates had to replace someone and to keep Maranta out there who was pretty handy under the highball even off the wing. Mind you Oates looked a lot like Folau did for the Wallabies. Oates under the short kick off than than a kick for territory though.. Flying up into the air and coming down with it.

I was a bit worried when Naiqama broke down the wing. Maranta was in the middle at that point but not sure why.

Easy game. The boys had a bit of a breather after half time but decided to play again for the last 20. Nothing serious enough to warrant complaining.

Is it just me , or has Woods gone backwards. I haven't seen his stats. He just seems to be all niggle, flops and a dopey haircut.

Does plenty of flops in defence but hasn't been carting the ball up with much impact for awhile.

This. Wasn't overly happy with the breather but the fact that we stopped their momentum and got back on track was great.

Superhero Sunday and some clown went as Wally from Where's Wally...

He didn't do a good job. I spotted him straight away.

Yep......one the big differences in this team over last years......last year we would have folded.

Looking at the replay, I think we will lose Reed next week.

Contact with the head on the kicker and he has already been charged this year.

And my 3rd best is Hunt. Blair was extremely close of snaring that. So was Milford.

Agree about Reed. Foolish thing to do, don't think he has any loading points so might stay with early plea. Was a dumb move regardless, completely unnecessary.

Hunt was KFC MOTM. I thought he was more present than in previous weeks.

Aside from learning not to clock off, we seriously need to re-visit our defensive structure of "come to us". It is dumb giving the opposition free metres, time to set plays and momentum. Do that against a class side and we get smashed.

Every game you say this, yet we keep winning....

3. Maranta
2. Blair
1. Milford

You know we're playing well as a team when Maranta and Blair are featuring in many votes. What an effort

Have to agree with your sentiments IBM, my top 3 in that order also. Milf is looking better with each game he plays, and Blair really tried hes heart out today and put in the extra effort when needed. As for Lachie ,well, this kid has really gone ahead in leaps an bounds. I was paying close attention to him after he scored hes second try and there seemed to be a real look of confidence, even arrogance about him. I think this is what he has lacked over the past few seasons an it was almost as if deep down he didnt beleive he belonged. Now, you can sense a change in hes demeanour and he has a real swagger about him out there on the field. Fantastic to see an so proud of the lad.

I was expecting a big score and I wasn't disappointed although we slacked of after halftime. Despite that period after the break we were never really in trouble and easily dealt with a very poor Tigers team that is possibly the worst in the comp. Very happy with the result and we are still 4 points on top of the table.

Ben Hunt was awesome again deserved MOM winner.

I had a very enjoyable afternoon out

10 hitups for 96 meters and 37 tackles. Not what he is capable of producing but his team was starved of possession for a while but topping his teams tackle count and making the 2nd most runs is evidence that he was making an effort.

Loving the tries we are scoring this season, Maranta's first try today was superb.
