Jus watched replay. As others have mentioned good to see Hunt back in the game. However,
1. HE needs to stop kickin the ball straight to players.
2. Pass the ball early to Gillett or Roberts with space (we have one of the quickest players in NRL any he receives minimal good early BALL) open your eyes BEN.
3. Maybe swap sides with Milf so he can pass left to right.
Great game to watch bit hard to blame refs for the loss we had plenty of chances too impatient but we will learn looks like its going to be a good year. Not sold on Mcquire as lock as yet so much like Parker dies with the ball on 4th tackle too much.
Did anybody notice Coote I think it was late in the game tackled Oates was on the ground Oates plays the ball to Milf pass back to Oates. Coote from offside position gets up and tackles Oates. No official saw it when it was in front of the touchie. DOH

Thaiday has been inspirational these past couple of weeks.
He has been coming up with big runs at crucial times to inspire the players.
I'm more than happy that he is in the starting side with the way he has been playing.

Holy shit, after checking out the Cowboys forum I absolutely understand the two heads thing NSW has been spouting for years. What a bunch of bogans, acting tough in their own echo chamber. Cowboy fans were dead silent until like 2014, which is about the time the Roosters downfall occurred. They can paint their wagon whatever colour they want, they'll always be little brother and little cousin at the same time.

I don't blame Milford for that. It doesn't look like the team practices for it at all, as there was absolutely no structure in place for it, and it was all just telegraphed.
That made the Cows' job easy, especially because they knew the refs wouldn't punish them for standing offside.
Yeah, I know we had that try off a forward pass, but that can't justify the amount of shit the Cows got away with, from a knock on try, to what should've been a sin bin on Oates, passing through half their defensive sets standing clearly offside.
I am stuck between admiring Wayne's view on discipline and adhering to the rules of the game, and the fact that it's clearly giving an advantage to the opposition, whom have no qualms to cheat where they can, because of their coaches questionable ethics.
But, if you insist on maintaining your ethics, you have to fucking demand the same from the refs, and Wayne is a mute on press conferences when it comes to that...
Imagine the crying from Green and Thurston about that forward pass if we had won the game? It wouldn't need a broadcast to be heard in fucking Townsville!
