POST GAME Round 2 - Broncos vs Cowboys

Look how happy channel 9 are. Rigged. Although I made a bit on betting for the extra time.

Struggled a bit with Kahu getting injured. Basically playing with a man down.

Thought our centres barring a couple of runs from Roberts were pretty ordinary.

Hunt was brilliant first half, then seemed to go back into his shell the longer the game went on.

Forwards were all pretty good i thought, but i have doubts Moose is going to be effective as our lock.

I think it just shows we need an organiser in the halves. Hunt and Milf are capable of some individual brilliance, but its the same old story, the game management is lacking.

Still think the big turning point was that Hess try. It was so soft and really brought them back into the game. Milf was never going to stop him, and Moga's attempted tackle was fairly embarrassing.

Now I got to try to sleep this off with a flight back to brisbane on my mind. After that kick from Milford in extra time to give the Cowboys a 7 tackle set I knew it was all over. These games are always exciting affairs but bloody tough on the heart.

We need to start grubbing it up in the first half to get square ups when it matters: the momentum a rush of second half penalties give you is the difference more often than not. It's a fucking disgrace that you're actually concerned about receiving a heap of early penalties.

Great game of footy.

Plenty to like out there for the Broncos, I thought Hunt had some fantastic touches and Arrow once again proved his value off the bench.

The key will be how they bounce back next week.

Despite the carry on here, I thought it was an awesome effort from the whole team. Hunt played the best he has since 2015. All the forwards stood up. All the outside backs were good. Refs didn't lose us that game. We were beaten by the experience of Thurston in golden point. He could finish were we couldn't.

We'll struggle to win 10 games this year ... we're fucken average compared to 97% of the other teams in the comp who can, y'know, build pressure and kick field goals and shit

I honestly don't think we could've played any better tonight, obviously 4-5 absolute mind boggling mistakes from our young players, but overall everyone put in 100% and played their heart out.

The most annoying errors were Ese'ese just dropping the ball for absolutely no reason with 30 seconds left in regulation and Moga trying to throw a flick pass instead of just a normal pass which would've probably put Oates in the corner.

I agreed with everyone you said except last 3 sentences
Refs were up the sput

You know refs you don't have to square up the penaltys . If one team doesn't give them away and the other does then the credit should go to the team that doesn't give away the penaltys . Seriously 3 square up penaltys at crucial times tonight.

I can't face watching anymore Nrl games this year

There were so many rushed plays in that last 20 minutes, we had so many chances to win it haha.

Didn't deserve to win after that horrendous non-call on the forward pass though.

Yeah. Best player in the grand final, has already had a handful of clutch moments, and some where he has stuffed. Is already 22 and with only a couple more years in his career it is definitely too late.

Good call.

Tbf to Unbreakable, he isnt a clutch player at the moment, He is right. He doesnt step up enough in the big games. He does have moments, he does have games where he runs riot, but currently he doesnt do it enough.

Agreed.

Blair's attempted offload at 20-18 wasn't flash either. As a senior player, he really should have known better.

Milford took two years to kick those field goals. Way too slow.
