Broncos to win by 8 KHUNT to get MOM and Sims to knock Slater out cold.....

Sims would be doing well to knock Slater out from Norths

Didn't they initially say that Kenny's was a four week injury. I'm aware that being a physio, he'd know better than most, but that's a pretty quick recovery if the initial assessment was correct.

I heard it was 2 weeks yesterday. He should just sit out and not risk it if he is injured right now IMO. He's one of our key forwards this year.

He may want to prove something to the Storm?

I'd say Sims and McGuire will drop of the bench, unless Kenny fails to be passed fit.

Is it worth risking Kenny being out longer to play this Friday night???

I know this is slightly off-topic but thought I'd ask.

has anyone seen this Dane Gagai in action? His father hails from my hometown of Mackay and was a handy footballer, and there was a lot of push and shove between Broncos and the Reds to grab him. Apparently he's a gun student as well, which is a nice attribute to have for a footballer. Can the kid play? Could he be the heir to Hunts throne?

I saw him play the second half last Friday, he looks to have plenty of talent. plus he went to my old school and they have penty of wraps on the kid... he was being chased by the Reds, Broncos and i beleive the Cowboys were keen on him too.

bring in sims ....bring him.....hes tough ..just like corey !!! [eusa_naugh

Glenn is a good player and it would be a shame to drop him, but our bench is really lacking in size, I would definitely take Sims into this game.

"Justin Hodges may be picked to play against Melbourne Storm"

Thats great news if he is fit, but it will mean making a decision to drop either Michaels, Yow Yeh or Winterstein back to qcup a bit earlier than we would have had to.

For mine it would be Michaels at this stage, but I would rather see Hodges given more time to rest up.

If he's going to do the stupid, move the body while not moving his feet, and slowly hit 3 defenders like he did most of lsat year, then he might aswell stay rested.

If he wants to play like he's good at playing, and bust into the line, then sure, he can come back.

All the 08 players want to make amends for the major semi last year.

I doubt he is fit enough yet but I think it would be a psychological boost if nothing else for the Broncos to have him there. Adds the guessing game of where the attack is going rather than the old bomb to Folau routine
