Handling can't get worse, for a start!
And defensively we were solid with just a couple of poor lapses, usually recovering after a bust.
Plus our kicking game in general should improve.

At least one of the tries that the Cowboys scored was just pure class on Thurstons behalf. Cant do much about that. I dont think our defence was the problem last Friday it was our poor decision making close to the line and poor execution. Appart from Lockyer we did sweet f all in attack. I suppose thats a positive that Lockyer had a great game. His kicking and passing game were very good.

In attack we were rusty, Wallce didnt do anything at all and McCollough and Hunt on at least one occasion each went for the superman play when if we had of just held the ball we would of scored. Hopefully it was just start of season nerves. And evem though we played poorly if Parker had of kicked the two converstions we would of won.

Wallace and McCollough need to improve on their performances without a dobut. But it is only the first round of the season. I'm prepared to give them a few more games before i start asking for their heads.
