We should pay Hodges just to work with Cobbo full time.

With his size and speed, he should never be going out and should make us more yards.

Be good to see him do the Hodges scoot from dummy half from time to time.
Imagine having to employ a specialist coach to teach one of the most physically gifted outside backs of all time how to keep their body height low and away from the sideline
You can tell Reece is working with Darius: "Just fall over and put your hand out."

Rugby League fandom really is toxic when we've got fans criticising Payne Haas. Just incredible reading really.
To be fair if my criticism… He looks a hell of a lot more aggressive and motivated playing for NSW than the Broncos. Love the guy but I’d love to see that NSW passion for us a bit more (especially lately).

I wonder if this perception is because you're not used to seeing him in opposition? Maybe this is why every other club rates him higher than we do.

Yep Walsh has literally reduced his value these last few months. I can’t see him backing up this week either. Feels like he has played 2 games for us this year with making nowhere near the impact as last year. Much like Ezra.

Walsh was disappointing again last night, and I’m a big fan of him but it’s clear he is well off what he is capable of.
Would not have been shocked if KP replaced him last night, glad he didn’t though, just imagine the head noise if that had of happened..
Can’t see why Haas and Cobbo wouldn’t back up. I’d say Carrigan will too as he is just an athlete but the club may take that decision out of his hands.

If Kev rests them all then it’s confirmed he has completely lost it.

The flaws in his play were brutally exposed last night. Exactly what's gone wrong from him all year, albeit fewer attempts to push passes. We saw how high quality opposition can take him out of the game. We saw how he plays so hard he burns himself out and this can cost his team in defence. He can't sustain this effort for 80 minutes. No one can.

On the flipside, we still go better with Walsh at 1. He's still our ace.

He looks like he needs coaching, yet he's had some of the best in the history of the game at his disposal.

Edwards didn't do much last night either except make metres. Unfortunately that's the new meta for fullbacks and wingers under the 6 again rule.

Edward’s defensively was stronger. His kick returns were better. He was also more of a threat in the middle.
If he is on 800k then there is no way Reece can be anywhere near 1.4m. 1m is top money for Reece. And even that he probably hasn’t earned as of yet.

Speaking of which, I wonder why Reece hasn't extended yet? His value hasn't risen since it was prematurely announced as a done deal.

Payne Haas contrary conduct. Just a fine.

Reece Walsh not charged.

Jordan Riki is the only Bronco to cop a suspension this season. Karapani took a week off in lieu of a fine, when he was never going to be selected, so that doesn't really count.

There have been surprisingly few suspensions this season:

On Walsh, he had multiple ice packs after the game.

He isn't playing on Saturday.

Only thing I'd criticize about Haas is that he's not worth what we're paying him from a moneyball perspective.

You can never extract that much value out of a forward.
Yeah I can understand that point of view for sure. At some point things will have to change with his $$ because it is unsustainable.

I attribute this to Madge. The bloke is unhinged and perfect for origin and firing players up.

I reckon he would have taken his left pinky as threatened if Souths didn't win in 2014.
