Well after the euphoria of a great win, then the mixed emotions over the hooking of hook, his decisions since just go to reaffirm why he wasn't the one to take the Broncos forward. What does Reed offer from the bench - too slow to be a dangerous back, too small and defensively weak to be an impact forward or damaging backrower. And to walk back into a winning team really says that his indiscretion wasn't that bad because even though we won without you, we must believe that we would have won by more with you there. While they are winning, the three culprits should have been cooling their heels in qcup, waiting for injury or poor form to force there way back into top grade. Even when solutions seem to slap him in the face, hook just can't seem to accept them as real, just that if it was possible his way would have been better. And if this is Hook logic, where the players have payed their penance, then I'm in the camp where Vidot should be returned as well. For mine it is lack of opportunity because of three hogs inside of him that have hindered his try scoring tally, rather than any inability to finish a movement.

99% chance Reed will be named in the centres.

This is Anthony Griffin and he alluded to it even as early as the post match presser, making comments like we missed Reed's defence etc etc.

If Reed heals from his injury hook will view it as a massive advantage to have him back at centre... Copley's speed and line breaks are too risky

You're right. Vidot and Kennedy are playing ISC.

I've stopped caring. Vidot has been our best recruit and Reed has been shit all year but Reed waltzes back into the team. Not hard to see why the board had little faith in Hook. Don't worry it will be the same with Wayne coming to coach next year as well.

Friday, Jul 25, Broncos v Storm, Suncorp Stadium, NINE, 7:40pm

Matt Gillett (ankle) has been cleared to return for the Broncos. Decisions are yet to be made on Jack Reed, Daniel Vidot and Corey Oates, who were named on an extended bench after being stood down last week over a booze drama. However, coach Anthony Griffin said he won’t be moving Lachlan Maranta or Dale Copley, meaning Reed (ankle) is unlikely to play as he battles an injury picked up in Queensland Cup. However, expect Vidot to come onto the wing for Jordan Kahu, while Martin Kennedy will miss out for Oates.
The Storm travelled on Thursday morning and held their final training session in the afternoon. They expect no changes.


So now I dont know what to believe.

Nor do I, just conflicts with what 1910 just said. Also some reports saying Reed will play off the bench etc and this one says he's unlikely. Guess we wont know until the team sheet is handed in.
