I watched Tweed on Sunday and thought Coates’ defence was excellent. I observed him carefully, he was more sure of his role and less jumpy. He stayed with his hips square didn’t rush or turn in and was communicating.
Tweed were terrible and had to do a lot more defence but Coates was very strong. Cutters put him under pressure.
