She got your back. Marry that girl.I was a bit saddened that this girl asked me to dinner last night and I missed the game. Sounds like she did me a favour in hindsight.

Pretty much spot on with this comment. We have gone with a youth policy banking again on what we have developed, we either have to be patient for those players to season a bit more, or we buy in some added experience, particularly in key positions to help guide them (if you want quicker results). What you mean the fact that the club has assembled one of the best young forward packs in the comp , and had 4 of the best young halves and some great young backs isn't a great job.
They said they are going with youth , we where never going to be competitive this year. We win some easy games and then get belted by the best team in the comp , and the dummies and toys get thrown out of the cot ....
What are our strengths? Our forwards. What did we do with them? Make them into tackling machines. How the hell does anyone think that plays to our strengths? Also our starting forwards made around 140 and 150m which is still a top effort. Our bench was basically useless Offa topping the run metres at around 60. Missed tackles across the board were a problem but also a result of being on the back foot for the entire first half and defending against Melbourne for 70% of the time. Haha Siebold here's your stats bro. So it actually wasn't the broncos fault. It was Melbourne's for hogging the ball.
Fair enough, can you expand though? You can think what you like, it's why I haven't invested in this season. I rarely watch games because I get worked up. But you can think what you want.

I'd be a bit disappointed if the boss said in the media, "We don't do rebuilding years at the Broncos" if he knew that that's exactly what we're doing.
Some really good points by everyone but I don't think we've gotten to the core of it. There's no other team in the NRL that we consistently lose to and we beat the roosters already this season. Everytime we get flogged by the storm I see the same reaction about how far below the benchmark we are but it's just not really the case. We are not that far behind the rest of the top 8 but for some reason we cannot beat the storm. People talk about last year's dismal loss to the dragons in sept, but remember the year before when storm belted us 30-0 in the prelims or 46-12 earlier that year. And every other year even when we were beating roosters, sharks, cowboys and other teams that were doing well. They just absolutely have our measure.
For some reason the broncos are just shit scared of the storm. No other team goes weak at the knees like we do against the storm. Kicking it out on the full with the first kick off is symbolic of the fear they put through this club. It’s pretty sad in a professional sport that boasts toughness. It’ll keep happening until someone says enough is enough and won’t bend the knee to those pricks.
TPJ showed them no respect last year. We still got smashed, but it was great to see him just shove Slater onto his ass lol.
Darius just isn't up for it anymore and in my opinion has never been captain material. I know we hear that the players respect Darius and think he is great, but that could be poor judgement on their behalf.
It is Seibold who chooses the captain however, so the blame rests with him (or the board, if the rumours that his hands have been tied when it comes to Darius are true). It is just tough to watch when your captain is the laughing stock of the NRL.
Yeah watching the replay shows are defensive line retreating , which is so dumb. Gives the opposition time and momentum, you just can't do that especially against the storm. And Smith played haas easily in the middle for the welch try , but that's the issue with youth. Hopefully we can move forward and continue to grow, they were always going to be tough especially getting beat by manly last week.Pretty much spot on with this comment. Thirdly, the coach has to pull his finger out about sorting out whatever offensive and defensive systems we operate under and bed them down so it becomes second nature to the playing group. Unless he can do this and get this done in the short term, he may be looking at a shorter term contract than what he expected.
No it was on hear by roger wilco, he has the inside info. People seem to not take much notice but everything is spot on . They are banking on our youth and they obviously expect it to take time. This is the reason I think Bellamy didn't want the job, I expect him to retire after his contract and he wouldn't want to wait for our window.Fair enough, can you expand though?

What I saw last night at the game was a bunch of largely inexperienced kids up against a big and fast well drilled Rugby League team fine tuning for a grand final appearance.
Make no mistake, this is directly the result of a decade of incompetence by our recruitment and retention department nothing more. We either sit back and wait till experience is gained or go to the market and buy some.

Yeah, he should really take a look in the mirror.Phil Gould slams Anthony Seibold over Storm’s rout of Broncos

Phil Gould was critical of Broncos coach Anthony Seibold shifting the blame for his side’s loss to the Storm.
Phil Gould has slammed the Broncos after their demoralising loss to the Storm and has questioned coach Anthony Seibold’s reaction to the horror loss.
The Broncos suffered a humiliating 40-4 loss last night at Suncorp Stadium and Gould believes Seibold’s approach to the loss is not helping his side’s bid to play finals football.
“They haven’t won a title since 2006, and it doesn’t look like they’re going to be playing finals footy this year either, let alone win the competition,” Gould told Maquarie Sports Radio.

“It just seems like an extraordinary drought for a club that has had such an advantage over other clubs in terms of recruitment and retention.
“I really thought this was a nice, up and coming roster and I believe they have their best footy in front of them, but last night was a fairly meek demise at the end of the game.”
Gould also took aim at some questionable comments from coach Anthony Seibold that he believes are contributing to the mental state of his players.
“As I said to the guys they (Storm) are the benchmark, they are the best in the competition,” Seibold said.
“We got lapped by them by 36 points so that’s how far we’ve got to go. We are not the first Broncos team to get beat by 40 points by the Storm.

“They have come up here and dominated for 11 years now. So somewhere deep inside this organisation we have got to be better.”
Gould called out Seibold for appearing to shift the blame to other areas of the Broncos organisation.
“So it is someone else’s fault,” Gould said.

“What’s his job there? His job is to change the culture and the mindset and mentality of this team and if that is the way he is feeling. Well we are not the only Broncos team that have been flogged it is in the organisation.
“What is that saying about what he has been able to achieve over the last nine months in charge of the team?
“His job is to change the mentality and culture of that team and he is not doing that,” Gould said.
“When your coach talks like that after a loss, I wonder if that mentality is seeping into the players and that last forty minutes just wasn’t good enough for a team that was hoping to leapfrog into the top eight.”
