That loss would mean a middle of Haas and Patty would dominate their middles... now it's Haas and our depth up against their depth and Murray.

They've also got Sele and Havili who are nuggets that create a roll on through the ruck. Arrow will also move into the middle after Host comes on the field.

I would put Mariner on the bench to be honest and do something like we did last week with Staggs and Cobbo sort of roving through that middle-edge area with Mariner coming in on the wing. Maybe start Carrigan at 12 and then shift him to middle once Staggs shifts there.

Couldn't we go Staggs to second row and Mariner in? Still not ideal but better than weakening 2 positions. I do like Willison on the bench, but Patty at 2nd row sucks. Thank **** he got a rest last week.

I'm ok with a big bench in this case... having Cobbo in the middle for a stint is a huge gamble against a near full strength Souths.

Maybe Willison will move to edge later in the game and Patty back into the middle.

Just hope Kevvie has a plan for that last jersey on the bench and we're not trying to survive with 16 players
