Might be a blessing in disguise for Hodgo. He probably hasn't gone this far into a season without an injury or suspension forced break for a while and some of his defensive efforts lately have looked very tired indeed. Hopefully we can win these next 2 games (which despite our form we should) and he can come back fresh for our charge to the finals.

I think Reed is a chance to return this week. It has been 4 weeks hasn't it??

He'd be very underdone if he came back right now, fresh out of a cast with leg muscle deteriorated etc, really it should nearly be another 2 weeks on top of when he gets out of his cast to be safe.

And that's at the very, very least.

There was a short interview with Hook in the Telegraph today in which he says Norman and Wallace have been crap in recent weeks. It's nice to know he acknowledges it and is hopefully working on a solution.

I would be terrified if he didn't acknowledge it.

Completely forgot this was the Monday game.

Actually glad it is, may give Parker & Reed time to prove their fitness.

It's my birthday next Monday, so we better win!

I'm now nervous about this game.

I'd be nervous even if Brisbane was playing a Q-cup side next week ... it really doesn't matter who the opposition is at the moment, brisbane's biggest problem is themselves ...

friday night was the type of game brisbane would've won by 16 earlier in the season when their attitude and hunger was ruthless and things were semi-clicking ...

any opposition defense above toyota cup standard isn't going to be too worried by what brisbane is throwing at them at the moment ...

As soon as that changes, we go from a side who pretty much struggles to beat ANYONE to a legit top four side ...

dont know if it was related or not but theres an article on couriermail.com.au where andrew gee labelled wallace and norman quote "terrible over the past month" and that both halves are on notice or risk losing their spots.

BRONCOS lock Corey Parker hopes to play against Parramatta next Monday night despite a knee injury, but centre Justin Hodges will be sidelined for three weeks by a hamstring tear.

Scans over the weekend have revealed the extent of the injuries to the two Broncos internationals, with Hodges to miss matches against the Eels at Suncorp Stadium and then away games against the Raiders and Bulldogs.

Beale should be worried, he is next in line.

Perfect side, could deal with Norman and Beale swapped around, reckon it could be best for our season with Norman training at fb during the off season, still wouldn't complain with that side though.

dont think theres any chance hoffman will get suspended tbh.

i wouldnt mind seeing how we went without him though

(IF hoffman was out, which i dont think he will be)

id chuck norman at the back and i'd be tempted to give macca a run in the halves and have hunt at #9. macca played all his juniors in the halves, right? when he's got out to first/second receiver for us he has looked ok i reckon. hunt will give good fast service from dummy half.

I wonder if we can play Norman at Lock? He has played almost every position in the backline in this thread. :scared:

haha.

it would just be nice to see a shake up. try something new.
