Solution to our problem is a certain C. Norris at No6 ;)

I'm a massive Hoff fan and I don't have a problem with it. It was unlucky but if you got into tackles swinging your arms like that you need to make sure you hit your target (the ball) or be prepared to cop the consequences. There was no intent but it was definitely careless.

No doubt it was careless but not deserving of what charge it received IMO.

The Ace is finding form IMO. Will be hard with so many backs out though. It will just click if it is going to happen.

 That's easier said than done. It's like saying the ace is actually going out and winning.

In 06 Bennett adjusted his side so that the best attacking players could get their hands on the ball more frequently. Do we really have that?

I mean, I guess you could swap Beale and Hoffman around, give Hunt a chance in the halves & maybe go with a Hannant and McGuire starting front row rotation but that doesn't guarantee success.

I don't think it's that dire just yet, but the way everything is unfolding it could very well lead that way.

Watching the Titans game really reminded me of a typical slump game. We seemed to be flogging the hell out of ourselves but couldn't get ourselves out of second gear. Throw in a few ridiculously dumb and unlucky moments and it may as well be 2003 all over again.

I can't see Hook making any real changes beyond forced changes for the injuries and suspensions. He's not one to panic. Unlike me :P

I agree. I like your side. I agree with your logic, and panic.

As much as I am a critic of Norman and Wallace, I still think it wold be unwise to break that combination up now, especially with the potential loss of senior players. As well, there's always the chance that they will finally start to click.

As for Hoffman's inevitable suspension, I agree with Jeb's logic above.

Interesting scenario with a head clash though. Should one, or both be suspended for being careless enough to get that close and thus causing the possibility of a blow to the head, be it a Liverpool kiss or otherwise? Interesting Rule this... or am I reading it totally wrongly?

hoffmans charge was a result of the other charges this round. alot of pressure on the nrl to react to all this contact with the head.

if inglis and burns incidents didnt happen, hoffman would not of been charged.

Anderson did play for Norths

Ta. If Parker is out I'd imagine McGuire will take over his role. Anderson would be a welcomed addition to the bench.

This is off topic but I really want to say this.

Don't think of me as violent but after hearing Ray Hadley's call of the Friday Night game I hope he trips over and breaks his jaw or gets a voice infection so he won't have to ruin watching the boys play.

sooooooo agree with this, couldnt agree more. Fatty can join him.

Someone needs to tell fatty that if he can't commentate in an unbiased manner than stick to acting like a fool on the footy show. And hadley needs to realise that he is not on radio anymore and people can actually see what's happening, he doesnt need to call it like a horse race

^ funny isn't it that the whole reason for Hadley commentating this season is Ch9 punishing Andrew Voss for a couple of indiscretions last year ... But it seems the ones who're really copping the punishment are the viewers ..

Hoffman has taken early guilty plea ruling himself out of the match.

Te'o is disputing the grading.

Broncos laying -9.5 against the Eels .. not sure this side can score 10 points let alone cover 10 points against anyone in its current state .. haven't looked at the lineups but can only assume Jarrad Hayne has pulled out due to a strained nipple ?
