Bulldogs aren't going to be a guaranteed victory.
They are a side we have a knack for struggling against down there. They bring us down to their level and make us play the way the way they want us to play and we tend to lose.

I would rather not let Pearson play on the ANZ turf ever again.
I would like to see Boyd move into fullback this week when the bronco's get inside the attacking 20. At least he offers the sweep play. Isaako hasn't shown any playmaking since going to fullback. Not that I'm having a go at him. I'm sure it takes a while to learn the plays and get the timing and decision making right. Even if Boyd just jumped in a few times, it would give us another option.

Inside the oppositions 20 it should be all Milford and Nikorima, not Isaako.

Are you not paying attention ? Doesn't Isaako have a painful ankle injury ? Have you ever tried quickly stepping left and right with an ankle injury ?

I thought they were horrible just the tigers were somehow even worse. The dogs pack consists of hasbeens apart from Klemmar and Jackson to a lesser extent. Their halves are rubbish and their outside backs are just plain bad now. Hopa has to be close to the worst fullback in the NRL!
If we don’t beat the dogs this weekend then we might as well just come 16th because we are absolutely no chance of winning the Comp if we lose to them!
I don’t mind if he does this a few times a game by running across to opposite open side. Adds extra man and variety but limit it to a couple of times a half max.
Isaako will get there and no reason he can’t do a sweep play. Boyd can surely coach him everyday until he gets it. Isaako to be a threat at this stage in his career depends on the hooker and halves as well as fitness.

We will win more games than Panthers so should be above them come seasons end
Panthers are leaking far too many points.
How does a set move, where the fullback chimes in out the back off of a half, and either goes short to an inside man or cut out to winger require him to do any stepping? He just needs to run and pass.

Okay, I'll rephrase. Ever tried to run with an injured ankle ? Also, even the act you describe requires subtle changes of direction, all of which he is managing to do reasonably well. He's had two games at fullback, hampered by injury and all I'm saying is you're expecting too much. No need to reply.

I am watching the Broncos vs Sharks game again, if we want to get a roll on Nikorima really needs to get the ball more, I am 20mins in so far and he basically has touched the ball for the first time. Looking back on 2015 I now that Niko isn't anything compared to hunt but he needs to get more ball like he did in sets earlier on in the game.
