Interesting that Bird is moving to fullback for this game.

one of the reasons they are apparently getting rid of Dufty for is because they rate Cody Ramsey as a fullback, yet he can't get a look in at fullback

Yeah I thought the same.

I can't really recall but has Griffin been one to play games with his lineup, perhaps a smokescreen with a last minute swap of the two?

Seems strange given Birds put on a few kg's since he tried to play FB here, he looked like he was running in sand for that breakaway try a few rounds ago.

he did the same thing to Barba

Niu to the Dragons? He certainly meets their requirements in a recruit.

TPJ is out of the Panthers match. with what's been described as a personal issue

Elijah Anderson on debut tonight, he played Colts and ISC for the Capras and one game for the Cutters last year. Played Under 20's Origin in 2019 and Queensland got flogged 36-10. Matt Burton had a great game for the Blues.

Even Rapana looked shocked to be staying on the field when the ref said it will be a penalty.

Looked pretty intentional IMO.

Fancy a big win for the Rabbits tonight. I think the way the Eels get their centers to jam in in defence on the edge back rowers is a recipe for disaster against a side like South's, and they seem well off form as well.

Yarp, agreed.

So how is that not a binning? lol

The stupid merkins leading this comp wouldn't know if it's gonna be a fart for a shart.

Spoiler alert: McC is still shit. He's just a bloodier shit.

Canberra just too strong in the arm wrestle against the Dragons. St. George had more strike but lacked direction on the line and Bird appeared to be very rusty at fullback which cramped their attack. The Raiders did a really good job of playing clinical football and as the game went on the Dragons lost touch with the game.

I thought St. George were guilty of trying to play through their forwards too much. McGuire and De Belin in particular saw too much good ball inside the opponent's half and Norman really needed to test both sides of the ruck. Sims/Lomax/Ravalawa on one edge is far more potent than Burns/Amone/Feagai on the other.

Even with time becoming an issue, the Dragons had an opportunity to put on a scrum play for one of their speedsters and they simply turned it back inside to Sims.

Cook is just so hesitant to do anything nowadays.

He had about 2-3 quick ptb to go off and instead of exploiting the middle of the ruck he takes a couple steps and sends it out to the halves.

Parra look out on their feet already. Mahoney hasnt looked the same player since his injury.

Was that seriously a penalty for knees in the back (I've got it on mute)??

If so then Klein is clearly on the take to get the bunnies a win... poor old parra relegated to being the flat track bullies again
